Abstract: A temporary brace system includes a temporary brace having a top portion coupleable to a building structure, a bottom portion that contacts the ground, and a middle portion interposed between the top and the bottom portions. The top portion has an adapter capable of receiving numerous attachment brackets so as to be coupleable to any building structure. The middle portion of the temporary brace includes cable struts that may be hingedly coupled to a first and a second support at a first end and may receive support cables. The middle portion may further include hoisting brackets to allow a connection point for hoisting and transporting the temporary brace system. The bottom portion may have a bolt coupler and an adjustment unit. The adjustment unit allows the first and the second support to be extended or shortened via a telescoping bracket.

  • Patent number: 10573280
Abstract: A coated string for a stringed device which includes a coating applied to the surface of the string. The coating includes a base layer bonded to the surface of the string and an at least partially transparent low-friction top coat applied to the base layer. The base layer includes heat activated pigments that change color when heated above a color shifting temperature. In one embodiment, the color of the pigment in one area contrasts with the color of the pigment in an adjacent area without otherwise affecting the low-friction surface of the coating. The areas of different color created in locations along the length of the low-friction coated string.

  • Publication number: 20190277047
Abstract: A construction roofing safety anchoring assembly and method that permits a roofing construction worker to harness himself or herself to a stable, yet movable, rooftop anchor. The anchoring assembly features a mobile safety anchor having a safety harness coupled to a retractable cable and counterweighted anchoring assembly, wherein the assembly automatically and instantly acts to impede and stop any accidents or falls experienced by the rooftop worker. The safety anchoring assembly and method thus allows the worker to engage in unrestricted rooftop work efforts while the worker is also afforded substantially less risk of fall or injury.

  • Patent number: 10323733
Abstract: A vehicle braking system bias adjuster which includes a brake bias adjustment knob assembly which enables the driver of the vehicle to quickly and easily set, adjust, and visually and quickly determine the relative front to rear (or right front to left front) brake bias or brake bias setting of the vehicle before and while driving the vehicle. The brake bias adjustment knob assembly visually indicates the exact amount of brake bias, or if there is no bias at all. The ratio is expressed in numbers to enable the driver to reset the brake bias to a known value of ratio as needed for track conditions and vehicle weight changes. The value in numbers is reproducible. The present disclosure also provides a method and apparatus for retrofitting an existing vehicle with a brake bias adjustment knob assembly which enables the driver of the vehicle to quickly and easily set, adjust, and visually determine the relative brake bias or brake bias setting (i.e.
