Patent number: 9149550Abstract: The present invention relates to a stable, aqueous freshener composition for the reduction or elimination of malodors in air and on fabrics. The composition comprises from about 0.1% to about 3.0% by weight, hydrogen peroxide as a malodor oxidant; an effective level of undecylenic acid (and/or derivative thereof) as a malodor absorber preblended with a fragrance; a surfactant to solubilize the fragrance/malodor absorber blend; an acid based stabilizer in a range from about 0.008% to about 0.60% by weight; an optional pH buffer; and an aqueous carrier. The composition can be delivered via a spray dispenser for treatment of indoor air and fabrics. The composition has a pH of less than about 6 and does not contain ingredients known to soil, stain or damage fabrics. When applied as a fine mist, the composition delivers effective control of a broad range of malodors, while remaining imperceptible on surfaces when dry.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 2012Date of Patent: October 6, 2015Assignee: Innovasource, LLCInventors: Sandra N. Aqueous Hydrogen Peroxide Solution for Use as a Disinfectant or Anti-Microbial Personal Care Product
Publication number: 20090304608Abstract: An aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution for use in disinfectants, soaps, shower gels, and mouth rinses is provided, with improved disinfectant and anti-microbial activity. The solutions contain at least one phosphorus based acid compound, e.g. phosphoric and/or a phosphonate and a cationic or non-ionic surfactant. Importantly, the solutions do not require the presence of an anionic surfactant to achieve the objects of the invention, thus enabling successful manufacturing using multiple formulation methods. The solution may also contain fragrances, degreasers, flavors, or other additives depending on the purposes and intended functions of the solutions.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 5, 2008Publication date: December 10, 2009Applicant: INNOVASOURCE, LLCInventors: Glenn F.
