Patents Assigned to Innovation Calumet LLC
  • Patent number: 11260419
Abstract: The disclosure provides example methods and a system that includes: (a) a fluidization bed having a reservoir and comprising a base and a plurality of side walls, (b) an epoxy-based powder disposed within the reservoir, where the fluidization bed is configured to fluidize the epoxy-based powder, (c) a first heating element configured to heat the wire matrix reinforcement to at least a melting temperature, (d) a conveyor positioned over the fluidization bed and configured to engage the wire matrix reinforcement, where the conveyor is configured to submerge the wire matrix reinforcement into the fluidized epoxy-based powder such that a portion of the epoxy-based powder melts and coats the wire matrix reinforcement, and where the conveyor is configured to remove the wire matrix reinforcement from the epoxy-based powder; and (e) a second heating element configured to cure the epoxy-based powder coating the wire matrix reinforcement into a corrosion resistant barrier.

  • Patent number: 10982431
Abstract: The disclosure provides example drainage channels, drainage systems, building walls and methods. An example drainage channel includes a drainage panel for conveying water within a building wall. The drainage panel is impermeable and has a first end and a second end. A support panel is coupled to the first end or the second end of the drainage panel such that the support panel is configured to be arranged vertically relative to the building wall. The drainage panel is configured to be arranged either perpendicular to an exterior sheathing of the building wall or angled downward from the first end of the drainage panel toward both the second end of the drainage panel and the exterior sheathing of the building wall.

  • Patent number: 10066399
Abstract: A cost-effective and expeditious method for attaching a water channel layer to lath pre-installation, for subsequent application to an inner wall structure, increasing the efficiency and decreasing the cost of building construction, and also encompasses the stock material made thereby. In one form, there is a stapling frame equipped to be placed in juxtaposition to a water channel layer atop a layer of lath on and adjacent surface. A plurality of staplers mounted to the frame then combine the water channel layer and lath to form an integrated stock material that can then be used in a wall structure.
