  • Patent number: 9616275
Abstract: An ankle strengthening and rehabilitation exercise device is disclosed. The device is intuitive and simple to use by a patient even without professional medical supervision since the device indicates a specific movement of a foot by pivoting an ankle of the patient. In particular, the device may have an extension member that can be positioned on a frame of the device. The foot of the patient may engage the device. An elastic member may be secured to the extension member and the foot. The direction of the elastic member indicates the direction the foot of the patient should move by pivoting his or her ankle to specifically work or strengthen and exercise a particular ankle muscle of the patient.

  • Patent number: 8977296
Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for setting up geo fences and dynamically delivering particular digital media content based on these geo fences. A method may involve providing information corresponding to a specific geographic location and identifying a virtual geographical boundary around that location, for example, by adjusting position of the sliding bar. An interactive map may be used to illustrate location and boundary of the created geo fence and to specify some characteristics of that geo fence right on the map. Multiple common geo fences may be simultaneously created for different locations. Each geo fence may be associated with a token, which is incorporated into each subset of digital media content. Such tokens allow selecting and sending a particular subset to a subscriber device when the device enters a geographic area associated with a certain geo fence. Therefore, a subscriber device receives dynamically updated information based on its location.

  • Publication number: 20130035980
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of estimating market share for a communication service provider comprising collecting periodic packet data usage from a plurality of websites including details of the communication service provider used to access the websites; determining the market share of a communication service provider at the plurality of websites; and extrapolating the market share of the communication service provider at the plurality of websites to estimate the market share. Another method of estimating change in market share for communication service providers is also disclosed. The method comprises of collecting periodic packet data usage for a user from at least one user device which includes data on the communication service provider or providers used to access the internet from that device.

  • Publication number: 20120201150
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for measuring consumer experience through an optimal user panel within predetermined error rate, or any other categorization for wireless domain. The data is collected at the panel member's wireless device. Categorization of data is based on but not limited to, product groupings and market segments. To minimize the cost of the method while having the estimate of consumer experience within aforesaid error rates, the panel members are chosen such that they can provide the most informative data of usage for the parameters that effect consumer experience, such as wireless network usage, usage of applications, sequence thereof among others. The focal point of data collection will be to trace the failure rate in the wireless network, devices, application among others. Thus we can apply suitable statistical models of prediction, such as but not limited to Poisson distribution and Empirical Bayes technique. Thus an optimal and more accurate quantitative measure of the estimate is made.
