  • Patent number: 10942123
Abstract: We disclose methods and apparatus for measuring pH in a sub-surface volume of a diffusely scattering sample. Probe light is directed to an entry region on the sample surface, and collected from a collection region on the sample surface following diffuse scattering within the sample. The collection region is spatially offset from the entry region, so that when one or more Raman spectral features are detected in the collected probe light, a pH of the sub-surface volume can be determined from the spectral features.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed. The apparatus comprises a wireless transceiver and a processor. The apparatus transmits a data packet via a primary cell and a non-primary cell, the primary cell and the non-primary cell, wherein the data packet is sent via the primary cell and the non-primary cell over an enhanced uplink (EU) channel. On a condition that the transmitted data packet is not successfully decoded by the primary cell and also not successfully decoded by the non-primary cell, the apparatus receives a negative acknowledgement (NACK) signal from the primary cell and not receiving the NACK signal from the non-primary cell and retransmits the data packet in response to receiving the NACK signal from the primary cell even though the NACK signal was not received from the non-primary cell.

  • Publication number: 20210063538
Abstract: A lidar, and an anti-interference method therefor, may modulate a transmitting time of the lidar by injecting random time jitter at a time interval in a sequence of the transmitting time, and cause the lidar to transmit a laser pulse according to a modulated transmitting time. When an echo received by the lidar includes an expected echo of the local lidar and an unexpected echo from other lidars, because the transmitting time and the expected receiving time of the echo are correlated, injecting random time jitter in the transmitting time of the lidar may disrupt the correlation between the transmitting time of the local lidar and the transmitting time of other lidars. Thus, when a plurality of lasers are used together in one scenario and cause crosstalk, the anti-interference method for the lidar above can be used to fight against crosstalk to some extent.

  • Patent number: 10935501
Abstract: An optical metrology device, such as an interferometer, detects sub-resolution defects on a sample, i.e., defects that are smaller than a pixel in the detector array of the interferometer. The optical metrology device obtains optical metrology data at each pixel in at least one detector array and determines parameter values of a signal model for a pixel of interest using the optical metrology data received by a plurality of pixels neighboring a pixel of interest. A residual for the pixel of interest is determined using the optical metrology data received by the pixel of interest and determined parameter values for the signal model for the pixel of interest. A defect, which may be smaller than the pixel of interest can then be detected based on the residual for the pixel of interest.

  • Patent number: 10936471
Abstract: Computerized systems and methods are provided to intelligently and dynamically test one or more changes made to one or more applications. Requirements are received for generating one or more changes to a first application and a second version of the first application is generated with one or more changes. A failure probability value for each change is determined and a first set of tests to be executed on the one or more changes based on the failure probability value are identified and then executed on the second version of the first application. If the second version of the first application passes the first set of tests, it moves on to being tested by a second set of tests which are also based on the determined failure probability values. If the second version of the first application does not pass the first set of tests, the defects are identified and the second version is regenerated to cure the defects.
