    Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing a substance from a collapsible tube. The apparatus comprises: a housing with a slider positioned therein, first and second flexible members passable through a passage in the slider, a rod for supporting the slider within the housing, and a motor coupled to the rod for causing rotation of the rod. When the rod rotates, the slider moves along the rod and urges the first flexible member toward the second flexible member. This movement causes the substance in the tube to be dispensed.
