Abstract: An example complex includes a solid support and at least two different types of antigens attached to the solid support. The complex includes a carrier protein attached to the solid support. At least one of the different types of antigens is attached to the carrier protein. The at least one of the different types of antigens is attached to the solid support through the carrier protein.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of molecular biology and more specifically to methods for detecting anti-carbamylated protein (anti-CarP) antibodies in the serum of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients.

Abstract: Provided is a method for increasing the specificity of an antibody-based test to help in the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases by contacting a subject's sample with a blocking antigen prior to testing that is capable of binding to any interfering antibody present in the sample. More specifically, a method for increasing specificity of an antibody-based autoimmune disease assay comprising the steps of providing a sample from a subject, contacting the sample with a DFS70 derived antigen, reacting the sample with an autoimmune disease target and detecting antibodies to the autoimmune disease target is disclosed.
Abstract: The present invention is in the field of autoimmunity. More specifically, the present invention relates to the detection of autoantibodies to domain 4 of beta 2-glycoprotein I (?2-GPI) as an indicator for atherosclerosis.

Abstract: The present invention is in the field of diagnostics, and in particular to the early diagnosis of liver cirrhosis in a patient not known to have liver cancer by detecting and measuring circulating cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) alone or in conjunction with one or more additional liver cirrhosis biomarkers in the biological fluid of a subject.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for detecting autoantibodies in a subject which reacts with a GP73 antigen. Increased levels of GP73-specific autoantibodies in a sample from the subject which bind to GP73 antigen are indicative of liver disease in the subject.
