    Abstract: An IC architecture improving the sensing latency time in Projected Capacitance Touch comprises a sensor, a touch control integrated circuit, a sensing bus, a driving bus, the sensor comprising a plurality of sensing electrodes, and a plurality of driving electrodes. The driving electrodes comprise a selected driving electrode. The sensing electrodes are scanned and the capacitance change in each is recorded while a driving electrode is selected as said selected driving electrode. The touch control integrated circuit comprises a sensing IC, a driving IC, and a micro-programmed control unit (MCU), wherein the sensing IC comprises a module on receiving sensing electrode signal. The module on receiving sensing electrode signal comprises two sets analog latches and two sets analog multiplexers. The two sets analog latches comprising first stage analog latches and second stage analog latches and the two sets analog multiplexers comprising first stage analog multiplexers and second stage analog multiplexers.

    Abstract: A projected capacitive touch panel comprises a touch control integrated circuit, sensing electrodes, driving electrodes, a MCU, a AC signal generator, a sensing bus, and a driving bus. The driving electrodes are made of high resistance material. One driving electrodes is selected by MCU based on firmware program as selected driving electrode. A low voltage AC signal is generated by the AC signal generator. The AC signal is transmitted to the selected driving electrode and its adjacent two driving electrodes via the driving bus. The rest of driving electrodes are connected to a fixed DC level. Providing the same AC signal to three driving electrodes simultaneously can induce higher sensing signal in the sensing electrodes.

    Abstract: A projected capacitive touch panel comprises a triangle waveform generator, a plurality of analog switches, a plurality of sample and hold circuits. In addition, it also comprises a single conductive layer and flexible printed connectors. The single conductive layer is made of many sensing lines with high resistance. A triangle waveform is generated by the triangle waveform generator. The triangle waveform is transmitted to the sensing lines via the plurality of analog switches. In a rising stage, the plurality of sample and hold circuits are in their hold state. In a declining stage, the sample and hold circuits are in their sample state. The sample and hold circuit collects voltage deviation depending on resistance deviation on a sensing line. And higher resistance deviation can induce higher deviation voltage in the sensing line.
