    Abstract: A kit for preparing a custom-fit ear protection molding is provided having a first container containing a compliant material and a second container containing a hardening agent such that when the compliant material and the hardening agent are combined and kneaded, a resulting compound is formed which may be inserted into the ear of a user and allowed to cure. A method of affecting the hearing of a user is provided. A method of selling a hearing-protection kit is also provided along with a method of manufacturing the disclosed kit.
