Abstract: An energy supply unit includes a current supply connection, a consumer load connection, a primary power converter, which includes a converter for converting and transmitting energy from the current supply connection to the consumer load connection and which has an auxiliary circuit part, which has a primary-side energy supply, provided by a primary-side converter voltage fed to the converter, a secondary power converter connected to the current supply connection in parallel with the primary power converter; and a control unit electrically supplied with auxiliary energy and electrically connected in an information-transmitting manner to the auxiliary circuit part, the control unit causes, when the energy supply unit is in an energy transmission mode, an electrically effective connection of the converter to the current supply connection, and, when the energy supply unit is in a stand-by mode having reduced consumption, to interrupt the primary-side energy supply of the auxiliary circuit part.
Abstract: A power supply system with a large number of battery modules, wherein each battery module has a first electrical connection and a second electrical connection, via which the battery modules are connected in series in an interconnection branch of the power supply system. Each battery module also has an accumulator which can be connected via a bridge circuit of the battery module to the first electrical connection and the second electrical connection, and to a charging path via which the power supply system can be charged, and to a discharging path via which the power supply system can deliver electrical power to a connected consumer. The power supply system has a switching component to which the charging path, the discharging path and the interconnection branch are connected, and wherein the switching component can connect the charging path and/or the discharging path electrically conductively to the interconnection branch.

Abstract: A battery module housing for receiving multiple battery cells having: multiple receiving regions for the battery cells, battery cell receiving regions, a receiving region for a circuit board, circuit board receiving region that lies adjacent to the battery cells receiving regions; and multiple receiving regions for cell connectors, cell connector receiving regions that are provided adjacent to some of the battery cell receiving regions. At least one centering unit is provided for a cell connector within at least one of the cell connector receiving regions.
Abstract: A mobile, in particular portable, energy supply system having battery modules which can be connected in series in a controllable manner in order to provide different voltages at a power supply connection of the energy supply system, and a control unit for controlling the battery modules, wherein each battery module has an input connection and an output connection, a battery unit for providing a module voltage and switching elements, in particular power electronic ones. The switching elements are designed to selectively switch the module voltage for the provision of energy to the input and output connection, wherein a heat-transferring coupling between the switching elements and the battery unit is provided to transfer operationally generated heat loss of the switching elements specifically from these to the battery unit. A battery module for an energy supply system and a method for operating such an energy supply system are also related.
