Abstract: A method, system and computer program for automatic, highly accurate machine scans of unstructured text data sources, like information kept or displayed in Web browsers, WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL, PDF, and other documents, with the ability to detect, isolate and extract specific text information from unknown and varying locations within the unstructured text data. The system uses multiple human-vision-like but electronic scans of the unstructured data using artificial intelligence techniques to locate, and extract required information despite varying conditions, like unknown number of pages, unknown sequence of pages, unknown data layouts and data arrangements, unknown number, lengths and indentations of sections/paragraphs, and in case of tabular data, unknown number of rows and column sequences in the unstructured text data source.

Abstract: Methods, systems and computer programs for automatic, highly accurate machine comprehension of a plurality of segments of free form unstructured text in a natural language. The system answers a plurality of complex, free-form questions asked in a natural language, based on the totality of input text. The system further uses a multi-dimensional data model to measure the total effects of actions/verbs acting on various unique nouns present in the input text. The system may convert the questions into another multi-dimensional data model and may then compare the two data models in program memory to derive the answers to the posed questions. The system may then automatically detect unknown words and optionally look them up in digital information sources, such as online dictionaries and encyclopedias, to fill in the gaps in knowledge to answer the questions with expert-like reliability.

The user interacts with the compare design wizard to specify (a) at least first and second data groups each containing associated data elements, (b) one or more keys from the first data group, and (c) one or more keys from the second data group, the keys comprising data elements that the user desires to be compared by the computer application. The user further interacts with the compare design wizard to specify one or more actions to be taken by the computer application based on data element comparisons to be performed by the computer application of: the keys matching between the first and second data groups; excess data being found in one of the groups; and excess data being found in a different one of the groups.

Abstract: A system and method for automated browsing and data extraction from Internet Web sites. Our preferred method and system selects various data elements within the Web site during a design phase and extracts data from the Web site based on the matching of the selected data elements at the Web site during a playback phase. Another preferred method and system extracts XML data based on matching previously selected XML data elements during a design phase with XML data elements present during a playback phase, and reformats the extracted XML data into a relational format.
