Abstract: The invention relates to a tritium-traced saxitoxin dihydrichloride of formula (I) whose radioactivity ranges from 15-31 Ci/mmol and to a novel method for introducing tritium into a molecule comprising stages required for introducing tritium label by isotope exchange associated with the obtainment of a stably-traced radioactive preparation which can be used, in particular for receptor binding analyses.
