    Abstract: Ethylene, other light olefins and gasoline are produced from ethanol, or a mixture of ethanol/light alcohols or water over a pentasil-type zeolite into which zinc and manganese are preferably incorporated. The ethylene yield is linearly proportional to the ethanol content in the feed. No ethers and only insignificant amounts of light parafins are produced.
