  • Patent number: 7209471
Abstract: A data transfer method transfers data between two bluetooth devices located in a bluetooth scatternet. The Upper Layer PDU to be transferred is divided into a group of packets which are suitable for baseband transmission. According to a link path table, a group of link identifications of the target device is selected. A link field length, link number and multiple link ID fields of the selected group of link identifications and bluetooth header are added into data packets. A dedicate link associated with link ID1 field of present transmitting data packet and transmitter queue which corresponding to the link is used to transfer the packet through baseband, radio frequency into wireless channel.

  • Patent number: 7181101
Abstract: The disclosure is an optical measuring system and the method thereof for precisely measuring physical characteristics of light emitted from waveguides, such as beam size, pattern, strength, focusing, collimation degree, and divergence angle, by means of a plane optical detector in which a plurality of pixels formed by a semiconductor fabrication process are arranged in an array, without specific measuring means. The light is incident into ends of the arrayed waveguides with uniform time intervals and emitted from the other ends of the waveguides to reach the optical detectors through which the physical characteristics of the light are obtained and defined arithmetically.

  • Patent number: 7174544
Abstract: A JAVA program language compile-on-demand service system and method for accelerating a processing speed of a JAVA program in a data processing system having a relatively low performance is provided. The JAVA COD service system compiles a JAVA class file to be executed in a data processing system into a pattern which can be executed more speedily on the data processing system, and then transmits the compiled result, upon a request of the data processing system connected via a network in order to execute the JAVA program at a relatively faster speed. The system includes JAVA program providing servers, data processing systems, and a compile-on-demand server for receiving a service request, downloading a requested JAVA class file, compiling the downloaded JAVA class file, and transmitting the compiled result.

  • Patent number: 7159211
Abstract: The present invention provides system and methods for executing a sequential in parallel. Parallel procedures, specified in the program, are executed as parallel slave processes. A process when actually accessing a ‘synchronous object’ that does not contain the data value same as in program's sequential run gets blocked till the right value is received. Object value transfer takes place through an ownership queue. Synchronization over referred objects along with run-time alterations in the linkage structure of the objects is also supported. In the event of a fault, aborted processes are rescheduled and redundancy in data storage is avoided.

  • Patent number: 6694437
Abstract: Two stages of PPP negotiations are adopted for users to access a virtual private network (VPN). The access concentrator for providing PPP connections is designed to provide the two-stage connection. In the first stage, a user is verified as an authenticated VPN user, and a first network address is assigned. In the second stage, a service requested by the authenticated user is decoded for determining either the service being a VPN service or a non-VPN service. If the service is a non-VPN service, the request is processed by reference to the network address. Otherwise, a second PPP negotiation is executed between the access concentrator and a server in a VPN, and then the server of the VPN assigns the user a VPN address for providing VPN service.
