Abstract: A high-resolution, Active Matrix (AM) programmed monolithic Light Emitting Diode (LED) micro-array is fabricated using flip-chip technology. The fabrication process includes fabrications of an LED micro-array and an AM panel, and combining the resulting LED micro-array and AM panel using the flip-chip technology. The LED micro-array is grown and fabricated on a sapphire substrate and the AM panel can be fabricated using PMOS process, NMOS process, or CMOS process. LED pixels in a same row share a common N-bus line that is connected to the ground of AM panel while p-electrodes of the LED pixels are electrically separated such that each p-electrode is independently connected to an output of drive circuits mounted on the AM panel. The LED micro-array is flip-chip bonded to the AM panel so that the AM panel controls the LED pixels individually and the LED pixels exhibit excellent emission uniformity.

Abstract: The present invention provides for novel sustained release silk-based delivery systems. The invention further provides methods for producing such formulations. In general, a silk fibroin solution is combined with a therapeutic agent to form a silk fibroin article. The article is then treated in such a way as to alter its conformation. The change in conformation increases its crystallinity or liquid crystallinity, thus controlling the release of a therapeutic agent from the formulation. This can be accomplished as single material carriers or in a layer-by-layer fashion to load different therapeutic agents or different concentrations of these agents in each layer.

Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying data files that have a common characteristic are provided. A plurality of data files including one or more data files having a common characteristic are received. A potential rule is generated by selecting key terms from a list that satisfy a term evaluation metric, and the potential rule is evaluated using a rule evaluation metric. The potential rule is added to the rule set if the rule evaluation metric is satisfied. Based upon the potential rule being added to the rule set, data files covered by the potential rule are removed from the plurality of data files. The potential rule generation and evaluation steps are repeated until a stopping criterion is met. After the stopping criterion has been met, the rule set is used to identify other data files having the common characteristic.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a dynamic comparator with equalization function including a preamplifier, switched latch and dynamic transconductance circuit. The preamplifier amplifies input signals of the dynamic comparator. The dynamic transconductance circuit is inserted between the preamplifier and the switched latch for operating in a reset mode or a comparison mode. When operating in the reset mode, the dynamic transconductance circuit in conjunction with the switched latch performs voltage equalization of output signals of the switched latch, or when operating in the comparison mode, the dynamic transconductance circuit in conjunction with the switched latch receives the output signals generated by the preamplifier and carries out signal transconductance. The switched latch generates output signals as a comparison result of the dynamic comparator based on the transconductance signals generated by the dynamic transconductance circuit.

A focusing grid mesh parallel to the ion gate is provided at one side of the ion gate away from the ionization source, and the ion gate and the focusing grid mesh combine into a spatial focusing ion gate assembly which controls the flight of the ions. The mobility tube employs a traditional design and changes the ion gate portion to one or more spatial focusing ion gate assemblies. The spatial focusing assembly can realize the injection function of the ion gate and produce the spatial compression focusing of ions.
