Abstract: The present invention provides antibodies that neutralize flavivirus and methods of use thereof. These antibodies are derived from mAb1 1 which recognizes West Nile virus E protein and is cross-reactive with members of the flavivirus family, including Denge virus. The antibodies of the present invention prevent antibody-dependent enhancement of a viral infection by having a modified Fc region that does not bind to the Fcy receptor. The invented antibody is used to treat flaviviral infections and symptoms thereof.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a photocatalyst using a semiconductor-carbon nanomaterial core-shell composite quantum dot and a method for preparing the same, more particularly to a microparticle in which a semiconductor-carbon nanomaterial core-shell composite quantum dot is self-assembled using 4-aminophenol, capable of improving photoelectrochemical response and photoconversion efficiency when used as a photocatalyst or a photoelectrode of a photoelectrochemical device, a photoelectrochemical device using the same and a method for preparing the same.

Abstract: Provided is a single pulse laser apparatus. Abstract: A split drive transformer (SDT) and use of such a transformer in a power converter is described. The power converter includes a power and distributor circuit configured to receive one or more input signals and provides multiple signals to a first side of the SDT. The SDT receives the signals provided to the first side thereof and provides signals at a second side thereof to a power combiner and rectifier circuit which is configured to provide output signals to a load. In some embodiments, the SDT may be provided as a switched-capacitor (SC) SDT. Abstract: A system for controlling excess bias of a single photon avalanche photo diode (SPAD) is provided. The system includes a power supply, a SPAD, a control circuit and a load. The power supply generates a supply voltage. The SPAD has a first terminal receiving the supply voltage and a second terminal generating an output voltage signal. The control circuit is connected to the second terminal of the SPAD. Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, and a depth perception adjusting unit for adjusting a depth perception, based on polarization characteristics of light output from the display panel, wherein the depth perception adjusting unit includes a directional mirror and a reflective polarizer. Thus, the display device is implemented such that the directional mirror transmits or reflects light depending on an advancing direction of the light. Accordingly, any crosstalk phenomenon does not occur, and a depth perception can be adjusted without any loss of brightness efficiency.
