Abstract: The present invention relates to a computer-implemented method and apparatus for data processing for the purpose of blind separation of nonnegative correlated pure components from smaller number of nonlinear mixtures of mass spectra. More specific, the invention relates to preprocessing of recorded matrix of mixtures spectra by robust principal component analysis, trimmed thresholding, hard thresholding and soft thresholding; empirical kernel map-based nonlinear mappings of preprocessed matrix of mixtures mass spectra into reproducible kernel Hilbert space and linear sparseness and nonnegativity constrained factorization of mapped matrices therein. Thereby, preprocessing of recorded matrix of mixtures mass spectra is performed to suppress higher order monomials of the pure components that are induced by nonlinear mixtures. Components separated by each factorization are correlated with the ones stored in the library.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a GaN transistor, and a method of fabricating the same, in which a structure of a bonding pad is improved by forming an ohmic metal layer at edges of the bonding pad of a source, a drain, and a gate so as to be appropriate to wire-bonding or a back-side via-hole forming process. Accordingly, adhesive force between a metal layer of the bonding pad and a GaN substrate is enhanced by forming the ohmic metal at the edges of the bonding pad during manufacturing of the GaN transistor, thereby minimizing a separation phenomenon of a pad layer during the wire-bonding or back-side via-hole forming process, and improving reliability of a device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing cresol from phenol and methanol via gas phase alkylation, in which phenol and methanol are preheated and mixed with diluent gas, then the mixture continuously go through a catalyst bed comprising the catalyst for alkylation of phenol with methanol, to produce cresol by gas phase reaction at the reaction temperature of 200-500° C. and the weight hourly space velocity of 0.5˜20 h?1. The catalyst for alkylation of phenol with methanol is obtained by modification steps and using ZSM-5 zeolite, MCM-22 zeolite or Beta zeolite as an active composition. Using phenol and methanol as feedstock, the cresol selectivity can reach to 90%, and the p-cresol selectivity can reach to 58%. The catalyst is environmental friendly and non-corrosive to the equipment with a good stability and a broad prospect in industrial application.
