    Abstract: The disclosure pertains to wireless communications and, more particularly, to the exploitation of channel gain information, advantageously where more than two transmitter/receiver pairs transmit information over a shared medium. The disclosure applies distributed interference compression (23) at the receivers (receiver 1 (8), . . . , receiver k (9), . . . , and receiver K (10)) and repetition coding (13) at the transmitters (transmitter 1 (1), . . . , transmitter k (2), . . . , transmitter K (3)). Repetition coding repeats the same symbol stream (11) several times and the distributed interference compression (23) reduces the number of interference retransmissions (15) required to obtain the interference free signal (26). The throughput achieved by previous solutions is limited to two symbols per time slot, whereas in the present disclosure throughput is enhanced and is proportional to the square root of the number of transmitter/receiver pairs considered.

    Abstract: The present document describes a dynamic mobility management system. The disclosure describes a mobility management mechanism that is able to maintain the IP address assigned when a session was initiated in the user device to exchange data packets between the end-points of a given data service. This is possible through the management of the distributed mobility anchors, tunnels, interfaces and IP addresses, where a mobile node is configured to bind to the previously accessed mobility access router, such that the previously established network sessions of the mobile node are re-established through said previously accessed mobility access router. The disclosure is applied in the Information and Communication Technology domain, more precisely in the mobility management in communication networks.

    Abstract: Signal measurement for biometric recognition purpose includes a computational unit and a sensory unit designed to measure electrocardiographic (ECG) signals in a continuous fashion, guaranteeing that the biometric recognition is performed in an uninterrupted way whenever the device is used, with the purpose of enabling the automated recognition or validation of the identity of its wearer. The sensory unit has an electronic module through which the ECG is acquired. Its operating principle can be based in the electrical conductivity, in which case it requires contact with the skin of the user, or in any kind of capacitive or mechanical element, in which case it does not require any direct contact with the user. The device can be used in alternative or as a complement to existing systems that only perform a momentary identity check. It can be applied to vehicles, tablet computers or analogous contexts.

    Abstract: This invention discloses a photonic system to beamform the electric field yield by a phased array antenna. The system function relies on a photonic tunable delay line, which consists on an optical Mach-Zehnder interferometer with a predefined time delay difference between arms. The time delay is tuned by adjusting the coupling ratio between the power applied to each one of the interferometer's delay lines. Three embodiments are proposed, wherein one of them just uses a single delay line and a single monochromatic light source, independently of the quantity of the array elementary antennas.
