Patents Assigned to Instituto Nacional de Investigacion y Tecnologia Agraria y Alimentaria (INIA)
  • Patent number: 9644006
Abstract: The invention relates to the technological sector of the transport and delivery of molecules into cells, either at cytoplasm or at nucleus or inter-cells (cell to cell transport), using peptides binding proteins from the cell microtubule motor complex, preferably dynein-binding peptides, as carrier/delivery peptides; or functionalized structures, as nanoparticles, linked to said carrier/delivery peptides. This delivery can be useful in many technical fields comprising, among some others: diagnosis, therapy and pharmacology.

  • Publication number: 20130202627
Abstract: Use of flagellins from the genus Marinobacter as vaccine adjuvants. This invention is based on the use of two recombinant flagellins, F and FR, from the species Marinobacter algicola (DG893T strain), as vaccine adjuvants capable of developing a specific immune response, against peptides or proteins fused to said flagellins, or administered unfused jointly with the flagellins. This invention also describes new combined vaccination strategies, based on the two Marinobacter algicola flagellins and the Salmonella typhimurium flagellin.

  • Patent number: 7122315
Abstract: The method consists of detecting an enteric virus in a test sample, where the detection of said enteric virus in said test sample indicates the existence of contamination. The method allows us to detect the presence or absence of enteric viruses in a test sample, and then to determine the existence of environmental contamination, especially faecal contamination of livestock origin, in the test sample and, therefore, the place where the test sample was taken. The characterisation and/or molecular or serological typification of the enteric virus detected and its comparison with that of other enteric viruses present in sources of contamination near to where the samples were taken for analysis, also allows us to identify the origin of said contamination.

  • Patent number: 6852327
Abstract: The invention is a composition and a method for agriculture. The composition is a semisynthetic mixture (a) which includes (1) an organic compound which is essentially emitted in the fermentation of vegetable parts of the palm tree or related plant, (2) a vegetable material obtained from the palm tree or related plant and which has been ground, fermented, and stabilized, and (3) an organic compound emitted in minor quantity during the fermentation of the vegetable parts of the palm tree or related plant; and (b) a pheromone which is appropriate to control for the target insect. The method includes the application of the composition to a plantation of palm trees and related plants to be protected.
