The polishing device has a first end and a second end, and includes a spinning axle having a magnetic end mounted on the first end, an inductance coil wound around the spinning axle, a magnetic pole connected to the spinning axle at the magnetic end, a holder mounted at the second end of the polishing device, and a separator device mounted around the magnetic pole.

Abstract: A lens inspection device and method are provided. The lens inspection method includes the steps of providing a collimating light beam, polarizing the collimating light beam by a polarizer to produce a polarized light beam, deflecting the polarized light beam by a lens to be measured to produce a deflected light beam, providing a phase retardation plate through which a polarized compensation image is generated, and comparing the polarized compensation image with a lookup table having standard color values of a plurality of standard polarization compensated images recorded therein, so as to determine whether a deformation is presented on the lens.

Abstract: The present invention provides a light-enhancing component and a fabrication method thereof by using the focused-ion-beam. In the present invention, the surface plasmon polariton structure is coated on the surface of the optical fiber so as to form the light-enhancing component. When the light passes through the optical fiber, the luminous flux transmitted through the aperture on the surface plasmon polariton is enhanced, and the light beam smaller than the diffraction limitation can be transmitted to the far-field, i.e. the nano-optic sword is formed. The light-enhancing component of the present invention can be used for the optical data storage, the optical microscopy, the biomedical detections and the lithography to perform the extra optical resolutions beyond the diffraction limitation.

Abstract: The present invention provides a composite plate device for a thermal transpiration micropump apparatus. The provided composite plate device includes a substrate having a plurality of flow channels and a plurality of templates with closed sidewalls, wherein the plurality of flow channels allow fluid to flow therethrough and have a feature length larger than or equal to the mean free path length of the fluid. The provided composite plate device further includes a porous material that is filled in the plurality of templates of the substrate, wherein the porous material allows the fluid to flow therethrough and has an equivalent pore diameter smaller than or equal to the mean free path length of the fluid.
