Abstract: In a conventional method for extracting a cable, a power cable is reeled in by rotating a reel drum using a drive motor, and therefore there are cases where a power cable in a conduit cannot be extracted with the driving force of the drive motor when a large extraction force is required to extract the power cable from the conduit. The present invention is capable of directly transmitting, to a cable drum (5), a rotational force of rubber tires (9) whose outer circumferential portions are made of elastic rubber, by rotating the rubber tires (9) while bringing the rubber tires (9) into intimate contact with outer faces of the cable drum (5), and is capable of reliably rotating the cable drum (5).
Abstract: An apparatus is provided which comprises: a magnetic junction having a magnet with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMA) relative to an x-y plane of a device. In some embodiments, the apparatus comprises an interconnect partially adjacent to the structure of the magnetic junction, wherein the interconnect comprises a spin orbit material, wherein the interconnect has a pocket comprising non-spin orbit material, wherein the pocket is adjacent to the magnet of the magnetic junction. In some embodiments, the non-spin orbit material comprises metal which includes one or more of: Cu, Al, Ag, or Au.

Abstract: In several embodiments, a graphics processor couples to a virtual machine monitor (VMM) to present a virtual graphics processor to one or more virtual machines. A mediator for the virtual graphics processor synchronously shadows modifications to a guest graphics translation table (GTT) of a virtual machine to a shadow GTT of the VMM using trap and emulate virtualization. If the mediator detects a frequency of modifications to the guest GTT that exceeds a threshold the mediator may then asynchronously shadow at least a portion of the guest GTT to the shadow GTT and rebuild the shadow GTT prior to submitting commands for the virtual graphics processor to the graphics processor.
