In one example embodiment, a tool bar assembly includes a carrier configured to coupled to a row unit of an agricultural implement, a rail defining a channel configured to receive the carrier and guide movement of the carrier along the rail, an insert removably coupled to the rail within the channel of the rail, and a support removeably coupled to the rail outside of the channel in a position generally opposing the insert.

Abstract: Seed treatment systems include a treatment applicator, a treatment dispersal assembly, and an outlet for discharging treated seeds, a mixing reservoir including a tank, and a mixing mechanism featuring an inlet in fluid communication with an outlet of the mixing reservoir, a pump in fluid communication with the mixing mechanism inlet, and a rotating member positioned within the tank and oriented so that the rotating member rotates about an axis that is oriented at an angle with respect to an axis of the tank. Methods of treating plant seeds with a seed treatment composition including a liquid treatment component which extends a viability of a microbe and a solid treatment component including at least one microbial, and agricultural compositions containing treated plants seeds, are also provided.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided monitoring operation of an implement for an agricultural machine. Sensor data from an event based sensor which is mounted or otherwise associated with the agricultural machine is used to identify a flow of material associated with the implement. One or more flow parameters for the material flow are determined for the material flow and operation of one or more operable components associated with the agricultural machine are then controlled in dependence on the determined flow parameter(s).

Abstract: A forage harvester system comprising: a forage harvester configured to harvest crop and process the crop to form crop silage; and one or more processors configured to: receive image data from a mobile device, wherein the image data corresponds to an image of a sample of the crop silage captured by the mobile device; process the image data to determine a kernel processing score; and set one or more machine parameters of the forage harvester based on the kernel processing score.

Abstract: An automated mushroom harvesting system for mounting to a vertical mushroom rack comprises a robot having a frame mounted to a vertical carriage assembly. A SCARA arm is slidably mounted to the vertical carriage assembly by a vertical stage, operable to move the SCARA arm along a vertical mast. The SCARA arm moves the end effector in a horizontal plane for harvesting mushrooms, above the surface of the mushroom bed and into and out of the confines of the mushroom rack, and the vertical stage moves the SCARA arm in a vertical direction so as to access the mushrooms in a bed and to access mushroom beds on different levels of the vertical mushroom rack. An end effector having a helically reinforced neck and a graduated elasticity modulus, with a lower elasticity modulus in the neck and a higher elasticity in the cup, is also provided.

An irrigation controller interface device may include a first communication interface configured to establish a first connection between the irrigation controller interface device and an irrigation controller; a second communication interface configured to transmit and receive signals from a cellular data modem; and one or more processors operatively connected to the first communication interface and second communication interface. The one or more processors may be configured to: receive an instruction from the cellular data modem via the second communication interface, wherein the instruction indicates one or more zones of an irrigation system to control; generate a control signal to control the one or more zones based on the instruction; and cause the control signal to be transmitted via the first communication interface to the irrigation controller.
