The hand vacuum cleaner comprises a main body and a cyclone unit. The cyclone axis of rotation intersects the pistol grip handle. The cyclone axis of rotation is generally horizontal.
Abstract: A hand vacuum has a cyclone assembly which comprises a cyclone chamber and a dirt collection chamber exterior to the cyclone chamber. The cyclone assembly comprises a stationary portion and an openable portion. The openable portion is rotatably mounted by a rotatable mount between a closed position in which the cyclone chamber and the dirt collection chamber are closed and an open position in which the cyclone chamber and the dirt collection chamber are open. The rotatable mount is located at a rearward end of the openable portion.
Abstract: A hand vacuum cleaner comprises a body which houses a suction motor. A handle is provided on a sidewall of the body and extends outwardly therefrom. The handle axis intersects the suction motor. An air treatment member comprises a chamber, which has an openable door and which forms a front face of the hand vacuum cleaner. The air treatment member having an inner hollow member that occupies all of the central portion of the chamber between the front end of the chamber and a rear end of the chamber. The air treatment member has an openable door lock comprising a door release actuator wherein the door is moveable to an open position in which the chamber is opened when the door release actuator is actuated.
Abstract: A reconfigurable surface cleaning apparatus has a surface cleaning head, a support structure moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head between a storage position and a floor cleaning position and a portable cleaning unit removably mountable to the support structure. The support structure has a pair of laterally extending portions and the portable cleaning unit has a first mounting member comprising mating grooves which slideably receive the laterally extending portions when the portable cleaning unit is mounted to the support structure.
Abstract: A hand vacuum cleaner has a cyclonic stage which comprises a stationary portion and an openable portion. The openable portion is rotatably mounted by a rotatable mount between a closed position in which a cyclone chamber is closed and an open position in which the cyclone chamber is open. The stationary portion comprises an upper portion of the first cyclonic stage and the openable portion comprises a lower portion of the first cyclonic stage. The rotatable mount is located at a rearward end of the openable portion.
Abstract: A surface cleaning apparatus includes a surface cleaning head having a dirty air inlet and an upper section mount and an upper portion moveably mounted to the upper section. The upper portion includes a wand. A portable surface cleaning unit is removably mounted to the upper portion. An air flow path extends from the dirty air inlet to a clean air outlet and includes an upstream portion comprising the wand and a flexible air flow conduit downstream of the wand. Abstract: A robotic vacuum cleaner has a mechanical transfer mechanism that is used to transfer dirt from the robotic vacuum cleaner to a docking station.
Abstract: A medical system for ablating a tissue site with real-time monitoring during an electroporation treatment procedure. A pulse generator generates a pre-treatment (PT) test signal prior to the treatment procedure and intra-treatment (IT) test signals during the treatment procedure. A treatment control module determines impedance values from the PT test signal and IT test signals and determines a progress of electroporation and an end point of treatment in real-time based on the determined impedance values while the treatment progresses.
