Publication number: 20060256735Abstract: A method for configuring network devices in a network includes creating a domain having a management device and a plurality of select network devices. A configuration command is issued from the management device to a central network device in the domain to configure at least one of the network devices in the domain identified by the management device. The central network device then issues a configuration command to each of the identified select network device.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 13, 2005Publication date: November 16, 2006Applicant: HEWLETT PACKARD COMPANY Intellectual Property AdministrationInventor: Olaf Borowski

Patent number: 6404674Abstract: A magnetic memory cell having read-write conductor that is wholly clad with a high magnetic permeability soft magnetic material for a pinned-on-the-fly soft ferromagnetic reference layer is disclosed. The magnetic memory cell includes a ferromagnetic data layer, an intermediate layer formed on the ferromagnetic data layer, and a soft ferromagnetic reference layer having a non-pinned orientation of magnetization formed on the intermediate layer. The soft ferromagnetic reference layer includes a read-write conductor and a ferromagnetic cladding that completely surrounds the read-write conductor to form a cladded read-write conductor. During a read operation, a read current flowing through the read-write conductor generates a read magnetic field that does not saturate the ferromagnetic cladding. During a write operation, a write current flowing through the read-write conductor generates a write magnetic field that saturates the ferromagnetic cladding and extends to the ferromagnetic data layer.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 2001Date of Patent: June 11, 2002Assignee: Hewlett Packard Company Intellectual Property AdministratorInventors: Thomas C. Patent number: 6338553Abstract: A unitary ink supply tube guiding system for a large format inkjet printer includes a tube guide having a bottom comprising a tube support surface, and generally upwardly, preferably vertically, extending front and rear walls and an anti-buckling wall for confining movement of the ink tubes to prevent tube buckling. The ink tubes are supported throughout a full length to convey ink from stationary reservoirs to printheads mounted on a transversely movable printhead carriage. The tubes are preferably bundled together in at least one vertically extending plane and extend through front and rear substantially parallel reaches joined by a bend. The ink tubes are bundled together along a portion of their length by a protective sheath having wear resistant outer ribs which contact the tube guide. Anti-buckling stretch resistant tension ribs are preferably located along one side of the protective carrier or sheath.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2000Date of Patent: January 15, 2002Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Company Intellectual Property AdministrationInventors: Richard Lewis, Curt Torgersson, Antoni Monclús, Jesús Garcia, Martin Urrutia
