Abstract: A magnetically mountable user interface device for use in various vehicles and vessels. The magnetically mountable user interface device includes a frame having magnetic properties to be secured to a surface of the vehicle/vessel, a touch surface having a back side and a front side, a printed circuit board mounted to the back side of the touch surface and one or more magnetic elements secured on the back side of the touch surface, the one or more magnetic elements positioned to magnetically couple with the frame having magnetic properties.

Abstract: A battery power management system for vehicles and vessels requiring switching devices to disconnect mounted batteries from unit loads utilizing rules based logic. The battery power management system controls the switching devices to prevent over-discharging and over-charging of the batteries and to prevent excessive current drain. The battery power management system utilizes various timing parameters to coordinate connection and disconnection attempts and provides status information regarding the current state of protection of the batteries.

Abstract: A modular battery control apparatus includes a first stationary contact adapted for electrical communication with coach loads and a battery charger, a second stationary contact adapted for electrical communication with a coach battery, a third stationary contact adapted for electrical communication with a chassis battery, and a fourth stationary contact adapted for electrical communication with chassis loads and an alternator. First, second, and third movable contacts are respectively attached to first, second, and third latching solenoids and are adapted to abuttingly engage and disengage the respective first and second stationary contacts, second and third stationary contacts, and third and fourth stationary contacts. A controller selectively activates and deactivates the first, second, and third latching solenoids and a user-controlled switch panel communicates with the controller.
