    Abstract: A shredder apparatus has a moveable, shaftless ring component and a secondary comb member component. The ring component and the secondary component cooperate to shred material. The shredder mechanism may be positioned so as to be substantially in-line with the material entering the shredder. The shredder apparatus may be used in a method for shredding materials.
