Abstract: An interactive game system for implementing an interactive game in a room. The interactive game system includes a motion sensing module, a control unit, a projection module, and a lighting module. The motion sensing module senses movement of a real-world element and surface interaction data representative of a contact between the real-world element and an interactive surface is generated therefrom. The control unit generates graphic instructions and lighting instructions based on the surface interaction data, in accordance with an implementation of a gameplay of the interactive game. The projection module receives the graphic instructions from the control unit and projects graphics on the interactive surface in accordance therewith. The lighting module receives the lighting instructions from the control unit and performs illumination of a section of the room distinct from the interactive surface in accordance therewith.

Abstract: A deck for a treadmill includes a continuous track, and a plurality of slats connected to the track. The track and the plurality of slats at least partly define an inner space of the deck, and are rotatable about the inner space. The deck also includes a first motor configured to modify a speed of rotation of the track, and a second motor configured to modify a position of the deck relative to a support surface on which the deck is supported. The first motor and the second motor are disposed within the inner space.

Abstract: A content management system is provided to provide dynamic identification, selection, and application of content restriction response actions to streaming content. Portions of streaming content may be associated with a restriction regarding usage of the portion in the streaming content. As a content creator is generating a stream of content, a content management system can automatically detect any restrictions that are applicable to the content. The content management system can automatically determine and present to the content creator a set of available actions that may be taken in response to detection of the restrictions.

Abstract: A method and system for a command processor for efficient processing of a program multi-processor core system with a CPU and GPU. The multi-core system includes a general purpose CPU executing commands in a CPU programming language and a graphic processing unit (GPU) executing commands in a GPU programming language. A command processor is coupled to the CPU and CPU. The command processor sequences jobs from a program for processing by the CPU or the GPU. The command processor creates commands from the jobs in a state free command format. The command processor generates a sequence of commands for execution by either the CPU or the GPU in the command format. A compiler running a meta language converts program data for the commands into a first format readable by the CPU programming language and a second format readable by the GPU programming language.

Abstract: Systems and methods for delivering exercise content to a user of an exercise apparatus include a database storing exercise content, data associated with a content provider and data associated with an application provider, and a platform server operable to facilitate delivery of the exercise content to the exercise apparatus. The platform server delivers for display on the exercise apparatus archived exercise classes for selection by the user, receives from the exercise apparatus a selection, transmits data representing content of the selected archived exercise class, receives performance data from the exercise apparatus based on activity by the user, and generates archived performance data representing archived user performance parameters for a plurality of other users over at least the portion of the selected archived exercise class. Data is synchronized and updated for display by the exercise apparatus to simulate the user competing with at least some of the other users.

A payload including state data or command data is bound with a program delegate. The payload is mapped with the delegate via the payload identifier. The payload is pushed to a repository buffer in the external memory. The payload is flushed by reading the payload identifier and loading the payload from the repository buffer. The delegate is executed using the loaded payload.

Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting resistance on an exercise cycle having a frame and a flywheel include calibration, homing and auto-follow routines. A resistance apparatus comprising an actuator is configured to selectively position the resistance apparatus relative to the flywheel, wherein a distance between the resistance apparatus to the flywheel corresponds to resistance applied to the flywheel. Control components are configured to control operation of the resistance system in response to instructions, and a computing device is configured to output media for an exercise class to a user, the exercise class comprising one or more target resistance ranges corresponding to a segment of the exercise class. The computing device is further configured to selectively implement auto-follow logic configured to determine a target resistance value for a current segment of the exercise class and instruct the control components to adjust the resistance system to the target resistance value.

The process further includes determining, with the first client computing device, that a first media stream provided by the first client computing device satisfies at least one selective forwarding unit streaming condition, and providing, with the first client computing device and in response to the first media stream satisfying the at least one selective forwarding unit streaming condition, the first media stream to the second client computing device via a selective forwarding unit.

Abstract: A seat assembly for adjustably connecting a seat to a seat post is provided. The seat assembly may include a slider configured to slide along the seat post, a cam coupled to the slider and movable between a first position and a second position, and a cam washer positioned between the cam and the slider. The cam washer may include a base seated within a cutout disposed in the slider, the base having a non-circular shape for engagement with a complementary shape of the cutout. The cam washer may include a tab extending from the base, the tab seated within the cam. Associated systems and methods are also provided.

Abstract: A method for displaying archived exercise classes comprising displaying information about archived exercise classes that can be accessed by a first user via a computer network on a display screen at a first location, wherein the first user can select among a plurality of archived classes, outputting digital video and audio content comprising the selected archived class, detecting a performance parameter for the first user at a particular point in the selected class, displaying the performance parameter on the display screen, and displaying performance parameters from a second user at a second location on the display screen such that at least one of the performance parameters from the first user and at least one of the performance parameters from the second user at the same point in the class are presented for comparison.

Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting resistance on an exercise apparatus include a first resistance apparatus having an adjusting bracket, magnetic members mounted on an inner surface of the adjusting bracket, a stepper motor having an adjusting shaft and operable to traverse a portion of the length of the adjusting shaft. At a first position, the magnetic members are disposed above a flywheel, and in a second position, the magnetic members are disposed on opposite sides of the flywheel, providing resistance thereto. A load cell couples the adjusting bracket to the frame and generates a signal corresponding to the movement of the adjusting bracket. A computing system calculates resistance, rpms, power from load cell signal, stepper motor position, shaft rotational position and other sensor inputs.

Abstract: A tablet case includes a housing sized to receive the tablet computer, and a kickstand assembly that includes a locking high-friction hinge mounted on the housing. A kickstand member is attached to the high-friction hinge at a proximal end. The kickstand member is able to move between a collapsed configuration wherein the kickstand member abuts the housing, and at least one extended configuration wherein the kickstand member is axially rotated to extends outwardly from the housing for supporting the housing. Only friction from the locking high-friction hinge prevents axial rotation of the kickstand member.

Abstract: An exercise device rotating display mechanism is described herein. An exercise device may include a handlebar and a rotating mechanism. At least a portion of the rotating mechanism may be rotatable relative to the handlebar to pan the rotating mechanism left and right relative to the handlebar. The rotating mechanism may include a pivot including a stop, a display mount rotatably connected to the pivot, and a tab associated with the display mount and configured to engage the stop of the pivot with rotation of the display mount relative to the pivot to define at least one stop position of the rotating mechanism. The rotating mechanism may be connected to a support arm extending from the handlebar. A display may be connected to the rotating mechanism, such that panning of the rotating mechanism positions the display in one of a plurality of positions relative to the handlebar.

Abstract: A production environment enables the creation of media content featuring an instructor conducting a workout session, as well as the creation of command data for controlling output from a fitness apparatus. An instructor conducts a workout session while using a recording device to generate media data. Meanwhile, a computing device executes a client application to generate command data for controlling aspects of output provided by a fitness apparatus. The media data and the command data generated by the instructor can be transmitted to user computing devices over a network for consumption by users. The media data and the command data may be transmitted as a live stream while the instructor is conducting the workout session, or to be accessed on-demand by users at a later time.

Abstract: Described herein are embodiments of methods and apparatuses for an augmented reality system wherein a wearable augmented reality apparatus may efficiently manage and transfer data and approximate the position of its wearer and the perceived position of a virtual avatar in space. The embodiments may include methods of using data from various external or embedded sensors to estimate and/or determine fields related to the user, apparatus, and/or the avatar. The embodiments may further include methods by which the apparatus can approximate the perceived position of the apparatus and the avatar relative to the user when no predefined path is specified. The embodiments may further include methods by which information about a user's path is compressed and transferred.

Abstract: A method includes providing a first video file to a plurality of exercise machines, the first video file including content associated with an exercise class. The method also includes receiving user data from the plurality of exercise machines, the user data including respective settings associated with a common performance metric. In such a method, the respective settings are used on the plurality of exercise machines during playback of a particular part of the first video file. The method also includes identifying a timestamp associated with the particular part of the first video file, and generating an executable control corresponding to the performance metric. The method further includes generating a second video file comprising the content and the executable control. In such methods, playback of the second video file causes display of the executable control at a part of the second video file corresponding to the timestamp.
