Patents Assigned to Interbath, Inc.
  • Patent number: 5398872
Abstract: A multifunction showerhead or hand held showerhead assembly, capable of providing a series of water spray effects. The primary components of the showerhead assembly are a fluid directing valve assembly which includes a pair of generally cup shaped members co-axially mounted with opposing end faces proximate to one another. One of the generally cup shaped members has a bottom surface defining a plurality of fluid flow passageways. When the second member is rotated in opposing relationship to the base of the first member, the fluid flow passageways direct the fluid flow from an orifice in the first member to a pair of outlet passages, or alternatively to a sealed chamber.

  • Patent number: 5172866
Abstract: A shower head that provides a series of spray effects. The shower head includes an inlet port to establish fluid communication with a source of water and at least two outlet ports to direct a spray with various effects to the user. A pushrod disposed in fluid communication between the inlet port and the outlet ports selectively opens the outlet ports to allow the user to continuously select any combination of spray effects, which may include a continuous stream or a pulsating jet. The pushrod is actuated by a rotating cam ring operated by the user. The cam moves the pushrod transversely across the inlet port and, under control of of the user, directs water from the inlet port to the outlet ports. The cam ring maintains the pushrod in the selected orientation.

  • Patent number: 3979096
Abstract: A mounting arrangement for a hand-held shower head includes a bracket which is secured to the water supply pipe and a receiver which is pivotally mounted to the bracket so that its position may be adjusted in a plane extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of the supply pipe. The receiver is open along one side to permit a hose attachment for the shower head to be inserted into or removed from the receiver. The receiver is adapted to receive the shower head in a plurality of angularly related positions so that the horizontal direction of the spray may be adjusted. Vertical spray direction is adjustable by pivoting the receiver relative to the bracket.
