Abstract: A sink mat made of soft, pliable material comprising a set of slits defining flaps in said sink mat enabling said sink mat to fit in a sink smaller than said sink mat and for the flaps to curve against the walls of said sink and overlap and lie flat against each other.
Abstract: A rod or wire having discontinuous cross sections and implements made from such rod or wire are disclosed. The perimeters of the cross section of the rod or wire are not circumferences nor rectangles nor squares, and have either at least two curves going in different directions, curves and straight lines, or straight lines going in different directions—but in the latter case not being regular polygons.

Abstract: The present application discloses a portable tool. In one embodiment, the portable tool comprises a body portion, a tool portion, and an attachment member for fastening the portable tool to a second device. The tool portion is coupled to the body portion and has one or more tools. The tool portion is configured to rotate about an axis of rotation and relative to the body portion. The attachment member is operatively coupled to the tool portion and rotates with the tool portion about the axis of rotation and relative to the body portion. Rotating the tool portion relative to the body portion exposes a space between the attachment member and the tool portion that permits release of the second device from the portable tool.
Abstract: A tension rod comprising in its preferred form an outer tube and an inner tube in a telescoping arrangement. The outer tube has an expansion joint structure which can engage the inner surface of the outer tube to hold it in place. A spring stem-wedge-rod structure has a wedge portion with a threaded rod extending therefrom for being threaded through a nut held in the expansion rod structure. The spring stem-wedge-rod structure has a stem extending through a coil spring, and a spring retainer is fixed both to the stem and to the inner tube. Twisting of the inner tube causes the wedge portion to effect the expansion joint structure to be fixed in the outer tube, and the coil spring provides the tension to mount the tension rod between a pair of opposing wall surfaces.
Abstract: A mounting system for affixing fastening elements to a wall, particularly in rooms fitted with tiles, marble panels, or similar wall paneling, wherein the wall should not be punctured or have its surface penetrated in anyway. The mounting system comprises a support having a cavity or other structure for storing an adhesive and allowing uniform distribution of the adhesive on the support for attachment to a wall. At least one air transmission port on the support allows air penetration for ventilating and curing of the adhesive. An opening between the front face of the support and the rear face of the support allows air penetration from the air transmission port and recess to reach the adhesive on the rear face of the support.

Abstract: A retaining device for retaining a shower caddy or other item on a shower arm or other elongated member includes a clip structure for partially surrounding the shower arm or elongated member and having retaining arms extending therefrom and a plastic sleeve structure having receptacles for receiving the retaining arms to hold the sleeve structure on the clip structure, and a shower-arm engaging portion or elongated member engaging portion for engaging the shower arm or elgongated member to render the shower caddy or other item immobile on the shower arm or elongated member.
