    Abstract: A toy with an accessible interior is provided with a sliding lid. The opposed sides of the lid and opposed upper sidewalls of the toy define a cooperating pair of grooves and guides so that the lid may be slid on and off the toy. The sidewalls and/or lid are sufficiently elastic to permit the lid to snap into position with the guides captured within the grooves when the lid is pressed downwardly into position.
