Abstract: A knitted sock includes a specially shaped toe with multiple gores and extra fabric length to cover portions of a wearer's toe digits, permitting the sock to assume a relaxed form with reduction of pressure on or along a wearer's toe digits. A sock toe portion may include left and right side boundaries, a first left side gore proximate to the left side boundary, a second left side gore distanced (e.g., inset) from and non-intersecting with the first left side gore, a first right side gore proximate to the right side boundary, and a second right side gore distanced (e.g., inset) from and non-intersecting with the first right side gore.
