Abstract: A desktop book binding device for binding a stack of material such as paper along a stack edge using a cold set aqueous adhesive. The desktop book binding device is an office system having an adhesive storing compartment fluidly connected to a disposable, non-refillable adhesive cartridge with an applicator belt therein. The applicator belt applies adhesive to the plurality of edges when a carriage drives the cartridge along the sheets of paper.
