Publication number: 20150244862Abstract: Telephone call routing in a hunt group is based upon monitoring computer activities of the members (devices, people) of the hunt group. For example, a hunt group's member activity score may be based upon how many incoming hunt group calls that member handles. This high activity score is then used to control that member's place in the call routing order.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2014Publication date: August 27, 2015Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Fernando Salazar, Bhavuk Srivastava

Publication number: 20150243503Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods of forming patterning features in a semiconductor structure using a sidewall image transfer technique. The method includes first forming a plurality of sacrificial mandrels over a dielectric hard mask layer. Each sacrificial mandrel has a width greater than a minimum spacing between adjacent patterning features subsequently formed according to a circuit design. After forming a plurality of spacer material layer portions on sidewalls of the sacrificial mandrels, a plurality of filler material layer portions are formed adjacent the spacer material layer portions. The cycle of forming the spacer material layer portions and filler material layer portions may be repeated until spaces between sacrificial mandrels are completely filled. Removal of the sacrificial mandrels and the filler material layer portions provides patterning features.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 25, 2014Publication date: August 27, 2015Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventor: Effendi Leobandung

Publication number: 20150242656Abstract: A computer system comprises a Trusted Platform Module System (TPMS). The TPMS comprises a first Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and a second TPM, which comports with a different TPM specification than that followed by the first TPM. A physical presence input device receives a local physical change signal that proves a local physical presence of a user at the computer system. A toggle input device, which requires the local physical change signal, causes the state being output from the GPIO pin on the first TPM to switch from a first state to a second state. This change of state causes a TPM switch to selectively decouple the first TPM from a central processing unit and to couple the second TPM to the central processing unit.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 24, 2014Publication date: August 27, 2015Applicant: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventors: SHIVA R. Publication number: 20150242278Abstract: A transactional memory system salvages a partially executed hardware transaction. A processor of the transactional memory system saves state information in a first code region of a first hardware transaction, the state information useable to determine whether the first hardware transaction is to be salvaged or to be aborted. The processor detects an about to fail condition in the first code region of the first hardware transaction. The processor, based on the detecting, executes an about-to-fail handler, the about-to-fail handler using the saved state information to determine whether the first hardware transaction is to be salvaged or to be aborted. The processor executing the about-to-fail handler, based on the transaction being to be salvaged, uses the saved state information to determine what portion of the first hardware transaction to salvage.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2014Publication date: August 27, 2015Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Harold W. Publication number: 20150241943Abstract: It is determined that a current node power consumption for a node is greater than a node power cap that defines a limit of power consumption for the node. Responsive to the current node power consumption being greater than the node power cap and until the current node power consumption is less than the node power cap, power reduction operations are performed. The power reduction operations comprise determining a power management zone of a plurality of power management zones having a lowest priority among the power management zones and having a power cap greater than a minimum power cap for the power management zone. The power reduction operations further comprise setting the power cap for the power management zone to a value less than a prior value assigned as the power cap for the power management zone.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 25, 2014Publication date: August 27, 2015Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Malcolm S. Publication number: 20150242304Abstract: Arrangements described herein relate to generation of test plans. A list of test case selection criteria can be presented to each of a plurality of stakeholders. At least one user input is received from each of the plurality of stakeholders selecting at least one test case selection criterion from the list of test case selection criteria and, for each selected test case selection criterion, assigning a criterion priority. Test cases, which correspond to the selected test case selection criteria, can be automatically selected to include in a candidate test plan. A candidate priority can be automatically assigned to each test case selected to be included in the candidate test plan. The processor selects the test cases to include in the candidate test plan and assigns the candidate priorities to the selected test cases based on processing the criterion priorities assigned to the selected test case selection criteria by the stakeholders.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 25, 2014Publication date: August 27, 2015Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Muhtar B. Publication number: 20150243510Abstract: An ashing chemistry employing a combination of Cl2 and N2 is provided, which removes residual material from sidewalls of a patterned metallic hard mask layer without residue such that the sidewalls of the patterned metallic hard mask layer are vertical. The vertical profiled of the sidewalls of the patterned metallic hard mask layer can be advantageously employed to reduce pattern factor dependency in the etch bias between the pattern transferred into an underlying layer and the pattern as formed on the metallic hard mask layer. Further, the ashing chemistry can be employed to enhance removal of stringers in vertical portions of a metallic material layer.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 24, 2014Publication date: August 27, 2015Applicants: STMicroelectronics, Inc., International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Lawrence A. Publication number: 20150242344Abstract: A computer implemented method and system for delaying a floating interruption while a processor is in a transactional-execution mode. A floating interruption mechanism can detect a floating interruption request for one or more floating interruption eligible processors. Based on each eligible processor being in TX mode, the method and system can delay, using a predetermined period of time, performing the floating interruption at a selected processor of the one or more of the processors. A first processor of the one or more processors can be selected based on the first processor exiting the transactional execution mode within the predetermined period of time. Based on the predetermined period of time expiring, the method and system can cause an interrupt to one of the plurality of processors, and the interrupt can cause the processor to abort a transaction.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2014Publication date: August 27, 2015Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Dan F. Publication number: 20150243732Abstract: The invention relates to transferring, in one exposure, a single-mask feature to form two features on an underlying material. Specifically, a doubled walled structure (i.e. a center opening flanked by adjacent openings) is formed. Advantageously, the openings may be sub-resolution openings. The center opening may be a line flanked by two other lines. The center opening may be circular and surrounded by an outer ring, thus forming a double wall ring structure. In an electronic fuse embodiment, the double wall ring structure is a via filled with a conductor that contacts a lower and upper level metal. In deep trench embodiment, the double wall ring structure is a deep trench in a semiconductor substrate filled with insulating material. In such a way the surface area of the trench is increased thereby increasing capacitance.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 10, 2013Publication date: August 27, 2015Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventor: International Business Machines Corporation
