Abstract: A dry sunscreen composition comprising effective amounts of octyl methoxycinnamate, octyl salicylate, homosalate, menthyl anthranilate, octocrylene, benzohenone-3, propylparaben, BHT, PVP/eicosene copolymer, octyldodecyl neopentanoate, C.sub.12-15 alcohols benzoate, titanium dioxide, and acrylates copolymer. A process for preparing a dry sunscreen composition that involves: combining effective amounts of octyl methoxycinnamate, octyl salicylate, homosalate, menthyl anthranilate, octocrylene, benzohenone-3, propylparaben, BHT, and PVP/eicosene copolymer to form a first section of ingredients; heating the first section of ingredients to a sufficient temperature with substantially constant mixing until it becomes clear and homogenous; combining effective amounts of C.sub.
