Abstract: A dual-passage auto-search bill acceptor includes an acceptor housing including a lower bill-inlet passage, an upper bill-outlet passage, a bill-presser and a bill-transfer mechanism mounted for transferring a bill through the bill-inlet passage to the bill-presser, a cash box mounted in a rear bottom side of the acceptor housing, and a bill dispenser mounted at a top side of the acceptor housing and including a bill-return passage in communication with the bill-inlet passage and the bill-outlet passage, a storage module with a first bill-receiving wheel, a register module with a second bill-receiving wheel and a control gate biasable to open and close a bill passage between the storage module and the register module for enabling the first bill-receiving wheel to take up bills for storage or the second bill-receiving wheel to take up bills for giving change.

Abstract: A valuable document recognition system includes a main unit, and a circuit module including a microprocessor, a sensor unit for detecting the position of an inserted valuable document, a recognition module using an image pickup device and a bill recognition device for recognizing the authenticity, value and QR code of an inserted valuable document and a data storage module that includes a decode database having stored therein decode data corresponding the QR codes of predetermined valuable documents and a characteristic database having stored therein characteristic data corresponding to the anti-counterfeit characteristics of predetermined valuable documents. Thus, the valuable document recognition system is capable of recognizing the QR codes and anti-counterfeit characteristics of predetermined valuable documents.

Abstract: When a bill is inserted into the bill acceptor, sensor components sense the insertion of bill, bill-pressing roller set of bill transmission mechanism is driven to press bill, bill-transfer roller set is driven to transfer bill the bill-pressing roller set is released from the bill, and step motors of alignment correction unit are controlled to move correction devices toward each other to align the bill with the center line of bill passage subject to a predetermined number of steps. If the resistance force from bill is larger than the thrust force produced during rotation of step motors, utilize the step loss status of step motors and enable transmission devices to move correction devices away from bill when the rotation of step motors reaches the predetermined number of steps, and then enable bill-pressing roller set to press bill again and then enable bill-transfer roller set to transfer bill.

Abstract: A troubleshooted coin output method used in a coin dispensing and outputting machine including a machine main unit formed of a coin dispensing unit, a coin hopper consisting of a driver circuit, motors, coin-pushing modules and sensors and a circuit module, and coin tubes for storing coins. When outputting coins, the circuit module counts the amount of coins to be outputted subject to the amount of money to be given, and then stops the coin output operation if the outputted amount of coins does not match the amount of money to be given due to failure or one motor or any other reasons, and then counts the rest amount to be given, and then drives the other motor to output coins till that the desired amount are outputted, thereby troubleshooting the problem.

Abstract: A bill jam troubleshooting employed in a bill acceptor used in a consumer system includes the step of displaying an error message when a fake bill is identified by a sampling and validation module, the step of driving the transmission mechanism to carry the inserted bill back and forth over a validation zone repeatedly twice when a bill jam is detected, and the step of controlling the transmission mechanism to return the inserted bill to the bill slot. Thus, the invention improves the function and effect on the overall use of the product, and enhances the advantages and opportunities of commodity sales channels to increase product competitiveness.

Abstract: A bill acceptor capable of reducing light pollution, avoiding errors and faults and enhancing detection accuracy and reliability is disclosed to include a housing defining a bill slot in a face panel thereof, a bill-receiving unit accommodated in the housing and including a holder base defining therein a bill passage in communication with the bill slot, a control module, a transmission mechanism and a recognition circuit assembly, the recognition circuit assembly including a sampling and validating module consisting of a plurality of light emitters and light sensors and controllable by the control module to validate the authenticity and face value of an inserted bill, and privacy filters mounted in a light path in the bill-receiving unit between the bill passage and the light sensors to filtrate external light sources and to let the light emitted by the light emitters pass toward the light sensors.

Abstract: A valuable document receiving and alignment method includes the steps of (a) a user inserts a valuable document obliquely into a transversely tilted tunnel, (b) a validation unit of the valuable document receiver senses the inserted valuable document and controls a delivery mechanism to hold down the valuable document, (c) a sheet-deliver wheel module of the delivery mechanism delivers the valuable document forwardly to a predetermined distance and the user releases the hand from the valuable document, (d) the sheet-deliver wheel module releases the valuable document for enabling it to fall downwardly to the lower side wall of the transversely tilted tunnel and to let one side edge of the valuable document be abutted against the lower side wall, and (e) the sheet-deliver wheel module delivers the valuable document to a validation position for enabling the validation unit to identify the authenticity and value of the valuable document.

Abstract: A face panel assembly is disclosed having a mounting flange for detachably fastening to a bill/coin acceptor in an automatic vending machine, a slot for the insertion of a bill/coin into the bill/coin acceptor, and a RFID module, which has a sensor for sensing a RFID stored-value card for enabling the RFID module to fetch stored data from the RFID stored-value card and to transmit the fetched data to the automatic vending machine, and a transmission interface (wired or wireless type) for communication between the RFID module and the automatic vending machine.
