Abstract: An illumination device includes a plurality of light panels facing in different directions and having light emitting elements, a user-operable power switch, an orientation detector for detecting the current orientation of the illumination device, and a controller for receiving information from the orientation detector and the user-operable power switch, and controlling electrical power to the light emitting elements based on such information. A timer, used for automatic shutoff and/or delayed-on functionality, might also be included. The controller is configured to operate in one or more different operational modes, which can be preset and/or user-selectable.

Abstract: A collapsible worklight assembly comprises a head assembly and a multi-legged support assembly. The head assembly includes first and second worklights hingedly attached to each other, allowing the head assembly to be open in a deployed configuration and closed in a collapsed configuration. The head assembly is hingedly attached to the multi-legged support assembly. The multi-legged support assembly includes a support head and a plurality of support legs. The support head includes a hinged connection to the head assembly that allows the plurality of support legs to rotate towards the head assembly in a collapsed configuration and away from the head assembly in a deployed configuration.

Abstract: A solar powered lighting fixture having a multi-paneled solar array that maximizes the generation of solar energy during the course of a day. The outdoor lighting fixture of the present invention includes a multi-paneled solar array housing positioned on an extension rod that includes a plurality of solar panels arranged in a slanted configuration about the periphery of the housing unit. The housing unit is positioned on the extension rod so as to be elevated above the ground but below the actual light fixture. Employing a housing unit separate from the light fixture permits a greater variety of shapes to be used for the light fixture. Moreover, it allows the individual solar panels to be positioned at an optimal angle for maximizing exposure to solar radiation. Each of the solar panels is independent of the others, charging the battery separately so as not interfere with the other solar panels.
Abstract: A decorative lighting device that provides a solar powered light insert module that is adaptable to a wide variety of tubular decorative lightshades. More specifically, the solar powered lighting insert of the present invention provides a solar powered lighting fixture having one or more light emitting diodes, which flicker so as to emulate the light of a candle flame. The housing is designed so as to be slideably coupled with a wide variety of decorative votive candle lightshades.
Abstract: A lighting device comprises a circuit housing is disposed between the upper and lower light chambers. An upper lamp is provided for directing light above the circuit housing, and a lower lamp is provided for directing light below the circuit housing. The lighting device includes battery connections for allowing at least one rechargeable battery to provide electrical power the control circuitry. The lighting device also includes a solar panel above the circuit housing for receiving ambient light and recharging the battery.
