Abstract: A pipe clamp secures an elongate article such as a pipe to as structural channel. The pipe clamp includes a pair of elongate pipe straps each having one end for securement to the structural channel and an opposed end mutually interconnectable. The opposed end of one of the pipe straps is insertable into an aperture in the opposed end of the other pipe strap. A threaded fastener movably couples the ends to compressively secure the pipe strap to the structural channel about the article.

Abstract: A drill bit for drilling through an earthen formation to form a borehole includes a bit body having a central axis, an internal plenum, and an underside. The underside includes an annular outer region. The bit body includes an outer receptacle extending from the plenum to the outer region. In addition, the drill bit comprises a first and a second cone cutter. Each cone cutter comprises an outer region distal the bit axis. Further the drill bit comprises an outer sleeve having an upstream end received by the outer sleeve receptacle and a through passage. The through passage includes an upstream section having an upstream axis and a downstream section having a downstream axis that is skewed at an angle ? relative to the upstream axis. A projection of the downstream axis passes between the outer regions of the first and second cone cutters.

Abstract: A turbine nozzle is provided and includes a first ring having a first microstructure, a vane extending from the first ring, a first porous zone between the first ring and the vane that is more porous than the first microstructure to attenuate thermo-mechanical fatigue cracking between the vane and the first ring. Methods of manufacturing the turbine nozzle are also provided.

Abstract: A system and method for money management in an electronic trading environment are presented. According to one embodiment, a trader may configure a plurality of filters, each including at least one filter criteria and filter condition. When a money management module detects a new order, the money management module intercepts the order and determines if the order matches one or more predefined filters. If the order matches one or more filters then conditions associated with the applicable filter(s) are applied to the order. The application of one or more conditions to an order may result in sending a modified order, preventing the order from reaching the exchange, or sending order to the exchange without any modifications.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a request to access a field device and identifying a first device configuration associated with the field device. The first device configuration identifies (i) a subset of device parameters associated with the field device, (ii) a subset of device methods associated with the field device, and/or (iii) an interface arrangement of device parameters or methods associated with the field device. The method also includes retrieving a value for each device parameter identified by the first device configuration and generating a graphical user interface using the first device configuration and the retrieved values. The method could also include determining whether a user has requested use of the first device configuration. If not, the method can include identifying a second device configuration associated with the field device, retrieving the value for each device parameter identified by the second device configuration, and generating a second graphical user interface.

Abstract: A machine vision system includes a table having a fixture for supporting an object under inspection above the table, a gantry supporting a camera further above the table, a docking station, and a profile light movable together with the gantry between an inspection position beneath the object and a docking position next to the docking station. Fittings are provided for releasably securing the profile light to the gantry and for releasably securing the profile light to the docking station. The profile light can be disengaged from the gantry and engaged with the docking station for moving the profile light to the docking position or disengaged from the docking station and reengaged with the gantry for moving the profile light to the inspection position.

Abstract: This invention relates to azeotrope-like compositions, methods and systems having utility in numerous applications, and in particular, uses for azeotrope-like compositions comprising effective amounts of the compound cis-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene (Z-HFO-1336mzzm), which has the following structure: and another material selected from the group consisting of water, fluoroketones, alcohols, hydrochlorofluoroolefins, and combinations of two or more thereof. These compositions may be used in a wide variety of applications such as, blowing agents, refrigerants, heating agents, power cycle agents, cleaning agents, aerosol propellants, sterilization agents, lubricants, flavor and fragrance extractants, flammability reducing agents, and flame suppression agents.

Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed herein relate to order entry. In the electronic trading process, order entry involves setting one or more order entry parameters, sending one or more order entry parameters, or both setting and sending one or more order entry parameters. As will be described in more detail below, various order entry actions, such as moving a cursor across an order entry line, moving a cursor into an order entry region, pressing an order entry button, or performing a gesture, may be used to trigger the setting, sending, or both setting and sending of one or more order entry parameters. At least some embodiments relate to enabling an order entry action before the order entry action is able to set, send, or both set and send one or more order entry parameters.

Abstract: The present disclosure concerns methods and compositions relating to UXS polypeptides and/or nucleic acids encoding UXS polypeptides. In certain claims, the methods and compositions are of use to improve digestibility and/or ease of grain processing. Such improvements relate to a modulation in arabinoxylan and/or hemicellulose content in transgenic plants. Such plants can, for example, comprise one or more nucleic acid sequences that inhibit expression of one or more UDP-Xylose Synthase (UXS) genes.

Abstract: Arsenic can be an impurity in phosphorous pentafluoride production processes. It is desirable to remove arsenic from phosphorous pentafluoride prior to using of the phosphorous pentafluoride in the production of lithium hexafluorophosphate. The present technology provides methods of removing arsenic from phosphorous pentafluoride by extractive distillation.

Abstract: The example methods and systems described herein provide for configuration of one or more trade order parameters to associate with one or more trade orders, where the trade orders may be submitted to one or more electronic exchanges. According to an example embodiment, rather than having the trader manually configure each individual parameter associated with each trade order, a trader can pre-configure customer and order parameters. A user, for example a trader, broker, or market maker, can configure trade order parameters to associate with one or more customers, one or more order types, and/or internal messages to associate with any of the configured customers or orders. Based on the selected customer and tradeable object, the trading system evaluates the pre-configured customer and associated order parameters and determines which trade order parameters best match. The trading system then dynamically populates the order entry window with the specific trade order parameters associated with the best match.

Abstract: A backup tool supports a nut from rotation. The tool has a socket opening having opposing faces that lie along adjacent sides of an equilateral triangle. A threaded opening in the tool has an axis that intersects a third side of this equilateral triangle, and an adjustable screw threads into this opening. To adjustably fit the tool on a nut, the socket opening disposes around the nut, and the screw threads in the opening until the screw's distal end engages one of the six sides of a hex nut. The opposing faces along the sides of the equilateral triangle then engage two alternating sides of the hex nut. To support the nut from rotation, a reaction surface of the tool engages against a supporting surface of another nut, an edge of a flange, or the like.

Abstract: A system for information discovery of items, such as individuals or objects, from video-based tracks. The system may compute similarities of characteristics of the items and present the results in a matrix form. A similarity portrayal may have nodes representing the items with edges between the nodes. The edges may have weights in the form of vectors indicating similarities of the characteristics between the nodes situated at the ends of the edges. The edges may be augmented with temporal and spatial properties from the tracks which cover the items. These properties may play a part in a multi-objective presentation of information about the items in terms of a negative or supportive basis. The presentation may be partitioned into clusters which may lead to a merger of items or tracks. The system may pave a way for higher-level information discovery such as video-based social networks.

Abstract: In a dental operatory system a master device coordinates the activity levels of multiple slave devices. The master device coordinates activity via a communication link with all slave devices. A communication protocol incorporates a closed system addresses scheme in which the master device learns all associated addresses of slave devices, and all slave devices learn all associated addresses of the master device. Each communication between master device and any slave device includes both the master device address and the slave device address. The master device scans all slave devices for an activity status and determines which slave device exhibits a threshold level of activity, and whether activity is increasing or decreasing. The master device passes a communication control token to the slave device to be controlled by operation of the master device.

Abstract: Prill heads having prilling assemblies that include adjustable openings. Prilling methods using the prilling assemblies can allow for the size of the openings to be varied during processing to alter the size of the prills as desired, or for clogged openings to be cleared, while maintaining operation of the prilling process. The prilling assemblies and prilling methods can be used to produce fertilizer products, including fertilizers comprising ammonium sulfate nitrate.

Abstract: An air-fuel burner includes a heat-transfer tube, an air-fuel mixing chamber, and an air-fuel nozzle. The air-fuel nozzle is coupled to the air-fuel chamber to communicate a combustible air-fuel mixture into a combustion chamber defined between the air-fuel nozzle and the heat-transfer tube. The combustible air-fuel mixture, when ignited, establishes a flame in the combustion chamber to produce heat which is transferred through heat-transfer tube to an adjacent medium external to the heat-transfer tube.

Abstract: A sample analyzer cartridge for use at a point of care of a patient such as in a doctor's office, in the home, or elsewhere in the field. By providing a removable and/or disposable cartridge with all of the needed reagents and/or fluids, the sample analyzer can be reliably used outside of the laboratory environment, with little or no specialized training.
