Patents Assigned to International Standard Electrik Corporation
  • Patent number: 4480243
Abstract: Electromagnetic relay with a housing consisting of two parts (1, 2) which are bonded to one another, with a circumferential groove (5) being provided for in one bottom part (1), which is filled with an adhesive (6) in which the cap-shaped housing member (2) immerses after having been placed into position. The groove (5) is arranged within the area in which the electric terminals (3) are led through the bottom part (1), so that simultaneously, the adhesive (6) also effects a sealing of the lead-through points (4) of the terminals (3).

  • Patent number: 4467232
Abstract: A DC machine (motor, etc.) with permanent field magnets arranged in the stator frame and designed as shells. The shell of each pole structure consists of two or more annular segments arranged one behind the other in the axial direction and staggered with respect to one another in the circumferential direction. The staggered arrangement reduces the excitation flux area between the poles and, thus, diminishes the detent torque of the rotor.
