Abstract: In documentless order picking in which in a storage controlled via a computer the quantities of products to be removed for an order are indicated, in addition controlled via the computer the order picker is shown in which sequence he must process the order, i.e. which routes he must go, in order to minimize the total travel in picking out an order.

Abstract: In an apparatus for accumulating conveying of goods constructed in the form of a roller conveyor with rollers (10, 12) in which via inflatable hose sections (42) a chain (28) is adapted to be brought into engagement with the goods to be conveyed, between the chain (28) and each hose section (42) a support and guide profile for the chain (28) is disposed in a U profile (14). The support and guide profile (62) is made in the form of a comb with teeth (64) and between every two teeth (64) the shaft journals (16, 18) carrying the rollers (10, 12) can be accommodated. By this arrangement the U profile (14) may be made very narrow.

Abstract: The quantity display 22 of an apparatus for documentless order picking consists of a cover (36) which is preferably made from plastic and leaves a display panel (38) for a luminous display (24). Led through the cover (36) is an actuating button (50) for a switch which together with the digital luminous display (24) is secured on a printed board. The board and the actuating button 50 are secured via snap-action fit to the cover (36) and the cover (36) is mounted via snap-action fit on the storage means.

Abstract: In this apparatus for separating a pallet which is to be extracted from a rack at a removal side on a roller conveyor, a stop latch is provided for retaining following pallets, said latch being operated by a control flap connected by way of a rod and a toggle mechanism. The toggle mechanism comprises two arms. To define the collapsed position of the toggle mechanism there is provided on the toggle mechanism arm a projection which bears against the pivot pin of the other toggle mechanism arm. The extended position of the toggle mechanism is defined by stops which in the extended position bear either against the pivot pin of the toggle mechanism arm or the pivot pin of the stop latch.

Abstract: A disconnectable driving roller for roller conveyors having individual driving roller groups isolatable from a common conveyor drive comprising a driving wheel having a dog coupling for connecting the driving wheel to the roller, which includes a first axially slidable coupling; pivotally mounted coupling lever; and an axially slidable actuating disc between said coupling lever and the first coupling, with the coupling lever and the actuating disc having cooperating cams. The arrangement is such that when the coupling lever is moved from a disengaging to an engaging position, the cam disc is moved and in turn moves the first coupling into its position connecting the drive wheel to the roller.

Abstract: This invention relates to a roller for a conveying apparatus, the roller consisting of a tubular casing, a roller bottom in each end, and a dust cover inserted into each roller bottom and being so designed as to limit the entrance of water into the roller casing.

Abstract: A link to be assembled to other similar links to form a chain, such as is used with conveyors, capable of movement in three mutually perpendicular directions comprises a one-piece plastic member of generally U-shaped configuration including a cross piece and two opposed arms. Apertured hubs are formed unitary with the ends of each arm, as well as at the cross piece. A first swivel axle interconnects the cross piece portion of the link to the free arms of the adjacent link, while a second swivel axle interconnects the hubs disposed at the free ends of the link to the cross piece of a third link. The first and second pivot axles are disposed orthagonal to one another thereby providing optimal three dimensional mobility to the chain. Supplemental parts such as lattice plates, solid plates, etc., are secured to the link at the hubs unitary with the arms of the link.
