Patents Assigned to Invent Medical Corporation
  • Patent number: 11865255
Abstract: A ventilator is configured to supply a gas mixture to the lungs of a subject. The gas mixture comprises a first gas (e.g. oxygen) and a second gas (e.g. ambient air). The ventilator comprise a first gas inlet, a second gas inlet, flow modulator of the first gas, a flow modulator of the second gas, a junction configured to mix the first gas and the second gas, a patient interface configured to deliver the gas mixture to a subject, a pressure sensor, a plurality of flow sensors comprising at least a first flow sensor and a second flow sensor, and at least one controller configured for obtaining data from the pressure sensor and flow sensors and controlling the flow modulators to provide a gas mixture having a target pressure and a target oxygen content.

  • Patent number: 11752285
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for accurate leak estimation in a flow generation system includes measuring a total flow through the flow generation system, measuring a pressure in in the primary flow circuit of the flow generation system, determining when the measured pressure is within a predetermined threshold of EPAP, and calculating an intentional leak flowrate and an unintentional leak flowrate based on the relationship QFS(t)=QIL(t)+QUL(t) when the measured pressure is within the predetermined threshold. In another embodiment, a flow generation system includes in one embodiment an airflow generator connected in-line to a flow sensor, a pressure sensor and a patient interface connection by a first gas flow circuit, and a controller electrically coupled to the airflow generator, the flow sensor and the pressure sensor.

  • Patent number: 11452836
Abstract: A system for preventing cross-contamination in single-limb ventilators is described. In one embodiment, the system includes an airflow generator connected in-line to a humidifier, a first check valve and a patient interface by a gas flow circuit. A controller is electrically coupled to the airflow generator, and a cartridge is connected to the gas flow circuit between a first point downstream of the humidifier and a second point upstream of the patient interface. The cartridge includes a bacteria filter and the first check valve. A method for preventing cross-contamination in single-limb ventilators and a method for providing gaseous flow through a single-limb ventilator are also described.
