  • Patent number: 10081035
Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning chandeliers includes a hand-held fluid source having a proximal end connected to a source of hot water under positive pressure and a distal end having a spray head for discharging hot water under pressure in a spray pattern. A vacuum shield has at least one vacuum inlet connected to a source of negative pressure. Hot water discharged from the spray head is attracted to the vacuum shield when the spray head and the vacuum shield are disposed in relatively close proximity to one another and the vacuum shield is in fluid communication with the source of negative pressure. An object disposed between the spray head and the vacuum shield is cleansed by the action of hot water under positive pressure impinging against it. The vacuum shield protects objects not disposed between the spray head and the vacuum shield.

  • Patent number: 9662683
Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning chandeliers includes a hand-held tank for holding hot water and a base supporting the hand-held tank. The base has a hollow interior. The tank has sidewalls, at least one of which is transparent. An air and water pump and a battery are mounted in the hollow interior. The battery is in electrical communication with the pump. A first inlet admits ambient air into an inlet of the pump and a second inlet admits water into the inlet. At least one air and water-emitting nozzle is formed in a sidewall of the tank. A pump outlet is in open fluid communication with the at least one water-emitting nozzle. The at least one nozzle discharges agitating water and bubbles into the hot water or above the water line, depending upon the water depth, to help dislodge chemicals and grease from chandelier parts immersed in the hot water.

  • Patent number: 9078501
Abstract: An embodiment of the carrying case system of the present invention includes a front panel and a body portion. A transport strap and a handle attach to the body portion for the user to hold the carry case. There is an adjustable hold strap attached between the body portion and the front panel, so that the hinged relationship between the front panel and the body portion ranges from a closed position to an open position. Length of the adjustable hold strap sets the open position, forming a flat workspace with the back face of the front panel. The body portion also includes an attachment area, which removably engages an insert panel. The insert panels have different configurations of pockets, straps, and pouches. The carrying case system can be used for different functions related to the particular insert panel installed in the body portion.

  • Patent number: 8402596
Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning chandeliers includes a hand-held jet gun having a proximal end connected to a source of hot water under positive pressure and a distal end having a spray head for discharging hot water under pressure in a spray pattern. A hand-held vacuum shield has at least one vacuum inlet connected to a source of negative pressure. Hot water discharged from the spray head is attracted to the hand-held vacuum shield when the spray head and the hand-held vacuum shield are held in relatively close proximity to one another and the hand-held vacuum shield is in fluid communication with the source of negative pressure. An object disposed between the spray head and the hand-held vacuum shield is cleansed by the action of hot water under positive pressure impinging against it. The hand-held vacuum shield protects objects not disposed between the spray head and the hand-held vacuum shield.

  • Patent number: 8404055
Abstract: A chandelier cleaning apparatus includes a tent-like enclosure made of a transparent plastic. In a first embodiment, the enclosure includes a main body having a flat top panel and a flat, imperforate bottom panel. A central aperture is formed in the top panel and a zipper extends from the central aperture to an outer periphery of the top panel so that the central opening is enlarged when the zipper is open. The chandelier passes through the central aperture when the zipper is open and is enclosed within the enclosure when the zipper is closed. A mist of hot water is sprayed onto the chandelier with a wand that extends though a small opening in the enclosure. The time required to clean a typical chandelier drops from hours to minutes, no chemicals are used, and the chandelier is touched only by the hot mist.

  • Patent number: 7992583
Abstract: There is provided a modular walking support system separable into two independently functioning walking supports, typically cane-like structures. Fastening elements hold the two walking supports together in a unitary walking support until two independent supports may be required by a user. The two sections may be manually separated or, optionally, a force augmenting mechanism may also be provided to facilitate separation by users having very little hand strength. The tip of the walking support remains in firm contact with the ground during both separation and reunification operation thereby providing continuous support to a user of the device. A variety of interchangeable handles, shaft portions, and tips are provided. In addition, many accessories may be provided, either within the structure or as add-on devices. The modular walking support is provided in colors, with decorations, etc. to help overcome the stigma perceived by some users arising from usage of such a device.
