Abstract: A computer-implemented method for a computer device with two pointer devices and/or a mouse filter driver and/or a hub configured to convert certain messages from the pointer devices into movement sequences. The method includes the steps of: (b) allowing the operating system to display the native mouse cursor; (d) providing a message processor to process raw input messages from the pointer devices; (e) maintaining a first and second position according to movements of the first and second pointer device; (f) adjusting a position of the native mouse cursor according to movements of the first or second pointer device which was moved or operated most recently; and g) detecting and converting the movement sequences into a corresponding command.
