Abstract: The invention provides novel anti-NGF proteins, antibodies, and NGF-binding fragments thereof which inhibit association of NGF with TrkA and/or p75 and are suitable for administration to a canine or feline subject. The invention also provides novel compositions and methods of treating pain or eliciting an analgesic effect in a canine or feline subject, comprising administering an effective amount of an anti-NGF protein, antibody or fragment thereof. The methods and compositions are used to treat or prevent NGF-related disorders.
