Abstract: This invention relates to a kit to enable the bio-degradability of a material to be observed. The kit includes: at least one environmental vessel formed from a non bio-degradable material having an opening that can be covered with a scalable lid for loading of the vessel, which vessel includes means so that the vessel can be sealed or ventilated if desired; at least one sample of a material to be tested. The sample to be tested can be located in the vessel and tested under the influence of a particular environment, which environment may be ventilated if desired.

Abstract: A reel for storing an elongate flexible element (such as a lay-flat hose) comprises a reel body composed of two side parts, each of which has a flange on its outer periphery. The flanges on the two parts extend away from one another and together form a guide track along which a carrying handle is slidable. The handle contains guide grooves in which the flanges are respectively received. A low friction material is provided between the flanges and the guide grooves, and may be in the form of one or more inserts.

Abstract: This relates to a game which includes a game board and a plurality of playing pieces. The game board is generally rectangular in outline but is provided at one end with a projection which is intended to interlock with another game board. The projection defines at least in part a receptacle for game pieces. The game board at the end thereof remote from the projection has a reserved area for receiving a selected code playing piece of a set of target code playing pieces and a code playing piece of a set of position indicating code playing pieces. The playing pieces also include test playing pieces conforming to the target code playing pieces and marker elements for signalling the correctness in relation to the code playing pieces mounted on a related one of the boards of the characteristics and relative positioning of the test playing pieces of a test group selected by a player.

Abstract: The invention provides apparatus for scooping a number of small articles or a small quantity of particulate material from a larger reservoir thereof, the volume of the amount scooped and therefore its quantity being regulated by adjusting the capacity of the scoop. In a preferred example of the invention a number of scoops work simultaneously in separate reservoirs and eject the scoopfuls into a common outlet when they are swept to a packaging point by a swift current of air.

Abstract: A board game according to the invention comprises a board with for example, four rows of four playing areas onto which each player in turn places a playing piece until at least four are played. Each player also has a second playing piece or plate which is capable of covering all the playing areas except four, these four being visible through apertures in the plate. If a player sees that he can place the plate over the board to show three of his first playing pieces and one of his opponents, then he scores a point. If he is wrong, the attempt counts as a normal turn in the game which then continues.

Abstract: The invention provides a board game designed to test the logical thinking of two players. The game comprises a board having twenty six rows of playing areas arranged in columns, into which playing pieces may be placed in an attempt to break a hidden code. The rows are numbered A - Z and the attempts are scores according to the nearness to an accurate guess by the player. The code has five such letters forming a word, one letter per column.
