Abstract: A piezo valve actuated by an electric voltage. The piezo valve includes a valve body having at least one port for introducing a fluid therethrough, an internal chamber communicating with the port, at least one valve seat for allowing the fluid to pass therethrough, and a circuit board for supplying an electric voltage; a valve unit opening or closing the valve seat of the valve body; a piezo plate bending-strained to either of opposite sides in response to the electric voltage, thus moving the valve unit; and a fastener fastening an end of the piezo plate to the valve body in a state in which a position of the piezo plate can be adjusted. Because the end of the piezo plate is fastened by the fastener, it is possible to fasten the piezo plate in a state in which the fastened position of the piezo plate can be adjusted.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of controlling an electronic thermostat valve that is based on the driving conditions. The method includes using controlling parameters memorized in an ECU (Electronic Control Unit). A power source to activate the thermostat valve is originated from an expanding force of a thermal element and a change of stroke of an actuating means. A cooling system of a vehicle can be maintained in an optimized state such that fuel consumption and exhaust pollutants are reduced.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an adjustable electronic thermostat valve comprising an actuating means provided with a rod for stroking a chamber of an expendable thermal element, so that temperature at which the thermostat valve opens can be easily adjustable based on driving condition of an automobile by changing the volume of the chamber of the expendable thermal element, whereby a cooling efficiency of the engine is maintained in optimized range. As a result, emission of exhaust gas and consumption of fuel is significantly reduced.
