    Abstract: Location-based augmented reality systems configured exchange of items based on location sensing and associated triggering icons, and methods and devices related thereto. In one exemplary embodiment, a first, provider user identifies a specific physical location; associates a triggering icon representing a value item with the specific physical location; and, transmits the existence of the triggering icon and specific physical location to a second, mobile recipient user computing device. The second, mobile recipient user receives the triggering icon and specific physical location from the first, provider user computing device, then finds the specific physical location, activates the triggering icon and receives the value item.

    Abstract: Technologies are generally described for optical image diversion to provide image capture and display from one or more directions using an image sensor. In some examples, an optical assembly may be used to receive light or other electromagnetic radiation from multiple (including opposing) directions and to provide light or other electromagnetic radiation to an image sensor or detector to capture images. The optical assembly may be centrally-aligned or offset. The optical assembly may be configured to allow collection of light or other electromagnetic radiation from two or more locations. An auto focus or stabilization element may be integrated into one or more optical paths inside an optical switching device. In other examples, a conical or spherical element may be employed to allow capture of panoramic/360 degree images or video. Elements may also be stacked.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods that divert images for image capture devices. An image diversion system includes a housing, at least one reflective surface within the housing, and a mounting mechanism. The housing is adapted to mount onto an existing image capture device. The at least one reflective surface can divert the image that is captured by the image capture device when the housing is mounted on the image capture device. Another image diversion system also includes at least one total internal reflection (TIR) element that can divert the image that is captured by the image capture device when the housing is mounted on the image capture device. A method provides a housing, at least one reflective and/or refractive surface within the housing, and a mounting mechanism.
