Abstract: A propulsion system is provided for advancing a cable of a sewer cleaning and/or sewer inspection system, comprising a propulsion device, a measuring device for measuring the advancement of the cable, and an evaluation device. The propulsion device and the measuring device are adapted to provide a first and a second measured value of the advancement of the cable independently of one another, and the evaluation device is adapted to form a difference between the first measured value and the second measured value. A control device may be provided which adjusts the advancement based on the determined difference. A correspondingly designed method is also provided.

Abstract: An inspection system comprising an inspection and/or maintenance device and a monitoring device is provided. The inspection and/or maintenance device is operationally connected to the monitoring device via a wired communication connection, and the inspection and/or maintenance device has at least one image recording system, the at least one image recording system provides digital video data and the inspection and/or maintenance device has a transmitting device which is operationally coupled to the at least one image recording system and to the communication connection, and the monitoring device has a receiving device which is operationally coupled to the communication connection. The transmitting device and the receiving device are adapted to transmit the digital video data at least via a sub-section of the communication connection in an analog manner according to an AHD standard. Also provided is a method for transmitting digital video data is provided.

Abstract: A pipe inspection and/or maintenance system is provided, having a control device, an image recording device and a feed device. The image recording device can be mechanically coupled to the feed device, and the image recording device and the feed device are operatively connected to one another via a first communication link. The feed device and the control device are operatively connected to one another via a second communication connection. The feed device has a processing unit which is operatively connected to the first communication connection and to the second communication connection, and the processing unit is adapted to receive image data from the image recording device by way of the first communication link, to process the received image data, and to transmit the processed image data to the control device by way of the second communication link. A corresponding method is also provided.

Abstract: A cable reel is provided, in particular for a pipe inspection system, the cable reel having a frame and a cable receptacle. The cable receptacle is rotatably arranged on the frame, it being possible to wind a cable onto the cable receptacle and unwind it from the cable receptacle. The cable receptacle has an inner cage and an outer cage, with the diameter of the inner cage being smaller than the diameter of the outer cage. The inner cage is arranged coaxially with respect to the outer cage and is inside the outer cage. It is possible to rotate the inner cage and the outer cage independently of one another, and the inner cage is receives a first cable portion of the cable and the outer cage receives a second cable portion of the cable.

Abstract: A sewer inspection or maintenance system is provided, at least comprising a carrier system, a satellite system which is movable relative to the carrier system, and a guide device coupled to the carrier system, along which the satellite system can be guided during a movement relative to the carrier system. The guide device can be extended or unfolded or rolled out from a stowed position into at least one position of use, so that the effective length of the guide device can be increased.

Abstract: An inspection or maintenance system is provided comprising an electrical interface, wherein the inspection or maintenance system comprises an inspection or maintenance unit and an external unit, which can be coupled to the inspection or maintenance unit electrically. The inspection or maintenance unit comprises a housing and the housing has a first electrically conducting portion and at least a second electrically conducting portion. The electrically conducting portions are electrically isolated from each other, the external unit comprises a first electrical contact and at least a second electrical contact, wherein the electrically conducting portions and the electrical contacts are configured such that the first electrical contact can be brought into electrical contact with the first electrically conducting portion and the at least one second electrical contact can be brought into electrical contact with the at least one second electrically conducting portion.
