Abstract: A first party provides a key phrase to a second party so that the second party can later initiate and send an electronic communication, such as an email message, to the first party with the key phrase included, typically in a prominent fashion such as in the subject line of the email message. In this way, the first party recipient of the email message can readily tell that the electronic communication was sent by the second party sender of the email message thus providing a measure of trust in the electronic communication.
