Abstract: Exemplary embodiments provide a method for determining a customer preference, the method includes receiving, at a merchant terminal, a customer ID token from a customer identification device; the merchant terminal communicating the customer ID token to a preference storage server which includes a plurality of customer preference records that are associated with one of a plurality of different customer ID tokens. The preference storage server determines a refined set of customer preference records associated with the customer ID token, and communicates, to a merchant associated with the merchant terminal, the refined set of customer preference records.
