    Abstract: An oil well sucker well shock absorber having a cylindrical outer casing, a spring disposed therewithin, a plurality of apertures extending through the casing and allowing fluid communication with upwardly extending slidably disposed piston plunger rod attaching device. Thus, unwanted play and travel and its associated wear can be minimized by force dissipation through the associated spring within the casing.
